I think the DA will be extra cautious on what is revealed publicly prior to trial. However, the defense would be advised, of course. Perhaps they are evaluating potential new evidence or he wants to plea? Time will tell.

It's moving at a snails pace because the accused has been using every legal means to slow the trial down. I don't mind a bit. It gives LE more time to exert pressure on his mother and wife to speak up. IMO, they absolutely know what he did with our dear angel. Perhaps they are working on accessory to the crime or obstruction of justice charges? Just speculation, of course.

As long as the defendant wants things to wait, all is well. Or, as well as it can be under the circumstances. What I mean is, the longer this waits to go to trial the better chance there is of justice. Lots of things can happen if given time--more evidence, someone with info deciding to come forward, and so. It is possible she might even be found or at least some evidence that points to what all went down that horrible day in March.

About the only positive I can point to right now is he is behind bars to stay; at least his children will not be forced to grow up in his presence. TG for that at least.

Some of the things that Mark Klaas was talking about in this segment is really amazing. Over 50,000 man hours put into over 1,000 professional searches so far. That is really something.

Yes you are right about hwy 9. It is very remote and spooky stuff surfaces from time to time.

I asked someone local from Saratoga and it is definitely not Sierra.

There was a murder in Saratoga a week ago, a 51 year old man was beat to death with a baseball bat. He had been a steady customer at the bar my friend who is local owns for years but he didn't know his name till last week. He always was real quiet.
