Was a senior at Woodrow Wilson High School in Long Beach in 1974. The attached pic from the school yearbook is clearly him and suggests a different hairstyle. He is listed as deceased (In Memoriam) on the school alumni site at WWHSLB1972Reunion: In Memoriam. For those looking at records, be aware that there is also a Steven Louis Ericson born in 1953 in California and most records appear to be related to this other person.

Actually he was a senior at Woodrow Wilson HS in *1972*. I attach his junior and senior year pictures. Just wanted to make sure it was clear that he graduated in 1972, not 1974.

Wonder if he made it to high school graduation? Last seen June 1st. That seems kind of early to me for graduation, but maybe not, maybe classes were complete at that time with the ceremony later or perhaps he didn't graduate.

That got me looking. I’m surprised he’s never been suggested (that I know of) as a possible match to a Kraft victim. 1155UMCA

Their chins are identical. Even their hairlines, especially above the temple. It’s hard to tell but Steven has bushy eyebrows.

He could be! I don't think he was on the exclusion list, nor was he on the exclusion list for 3455UMCA

Moreover: 74-03389-GR | Orange County California - Sheriff's Department
Laguna Hills John Doe 1974 who was about the same height and had long blond hair. According to Doe Network, Steven also had blond hair. The time difference is two years but the weight estimate is almost exact.

Surely they’ve been compared if at all possible! I’d be surprised if they haven’t looked into all missing boys/men from around the time and place RK was hunting, for the lack of a better word.

Gee....you just never know?

I feel as though the overall bone structure in the recons is not as "strong" as Steven, but there IS something familiar enough overall.

It's pretty weird about the other young man from his class being a victim. I don't like that one bit.

Did anyone ever submit him for that John Doe? Is he ruled out? The resemblance is spooking me out.

I could have sworn I submitted this but I’m not finding it in my ‘submission journal’. I’ll keep looking and submit this if I haven’t already.

**ETA: submitted to Doe Net.

Well over a decade ago I attempted to find information about Steve on the net with no success. On a whim last night I Googled his name and found your site. Steve and I were close friends in high school. The information here only deepens the mystery. I was told that they found his 1959 Mercury on the side of the road near Bridgeport, Ca. Also, the date of his disappearance doesn't make sense considering that he graduated high school after that date and came to my house to say goodbye before leaving on a road trip to North Dakota.
