MOD NOTE:
While it is encouraging to recall previous missing person (mp) cases that had a good outcome because the young person was found safe, Websleuths believes that the privacy of that now-found missing person is extremely important. Articles and discussion on the internet that contain the name of the now-found mp are there forever. Websleuths does not want to add to the difficult situation that may have led the mp to disappear, perhaps voluntarily, in the first place. In such cases, Websleuths policy is that the discussion thread may be pulled, and/or their name may be edited to initials only so as to protect the privacy of the now-found mp going forward.
Also, extended discussion of other cases can potentially cause confusion in current threads. It becomes difficult to follow which case is being discussed. Unfortunately the conversation can head in an unintended direction instead of keeping the focus on the victim/missing person that is the subject of the thread. If you have questions about cases that no longer have open discussion threads, you can PM other members or moderators to inquire about them.
Hope that helps. As always, THANK YOU for your efforts to post respectfully and responsibly according to the TOS we all agreed to when we joined.
Faithfully,
