Circumstances of Disappearance
Tami was last seen in Los Angeles (Pacoima area) on 12/30/1979. One possible destination was Medford, Oregon however her family never saw or heard from her again.

The closest I can find is a Tami Suissi
There is a 1978 yearbook photo with her being 15 years old, birthdate about 1963. The school is Monrovia California which is about 25km from Los Angeles. I don’t want to post as it might not be the correct person. Wish we had more details eg family names.
Edit, found a Bonnie Sussi going to same school born in 1960, wonder if it’s her sister.

I've also found the same yearbook, took a look at Tami Suissi at page 170, and then went to page 219, where there's an index with names of all the students. That's where you can find Tami Sussi, without an extra "i", so I think it may be the Tami that we're looking for, and the "Suissi" at page 170 is probably an unfortunate typo.
EDIT: And if Bonnie Sussi went to the same school, I'd say they're most probably sisters. I also did some digging on social media, but it would be wrong to post these informations here, but based on my research, I really think Bonnie Sussi was Tami's sister and Tami from the 1978 yearbook is the one.

Thank you both for researching! Can one or both of you please send the pictures you found to the contact person listed on NAMUS? The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

Explain where you found the photo (yearbook year/location and online source you are using) and exactly what you said up above about the possible typo of her name. The NAMUS specialist can consult with the detective to determine if it is her or not and they may add the photo to NAMUS if it's the right Tami. Thanks for NOT posting the photo here in case it's not the right Tami.
 
I'd love to sent them the photo, but I'm not from the USA and don't really want to get that involved. I already saved the photo "just in case" and will be happy to sent it to whoever feels more comfortable in contacting the specialist or the detective.
 
I hate to say it, but she reminds me of Walker County Jane Doe. Maybe it's because of the hairstyle.

Details of Disappearance

Tami was last seen in Los Angeles, California on December 30, 1979. She has never been heard from again. She may have traveled to Medford, Oregon after her disappearance. Few details are available in her case.

I’m surprised she hasn’t been submitted as a possible match to WCJD. The height is off and she has a scar on her wrist, but she certainly resembles her.
 
That photo isn’t on namus yet. Was it sent in? Also did any of you give the wcjd suggestion? Should I research any leads in particular, you think?
 
A short post to reinforce the family link with Bonnie Sussi identified in earlier posts. Ancestry has both family trees showing Bonnie as having a sister Tami Lee and has a yearbook photo of Bonnie which looks similar enough to be a sister to the photo of Tami above. The trees also show both parents as dead many years ago and Bonnie dying in 2015, so the closest remaining relatives may be half siblings.
 
According to her Namus casefile, she was last seen in the Pacioma area of Los Angeles - map below., red outline.
