The search is on for Tiffany McClure, last seen around 8:30 p.m. on Monday in Tulare.

Tiffany McClure is 5’ 8” tall, with a thin build, blonde hair, and blue eyes.

Wonder what info they have not to think foul play?
The article in the OP was updated today. I don't know if this is new information or if it was in the original version but I noted the following verbiage.

But FOX26 confirmed with Morro Bay police that she was seen on surveillance video Monday night at the beach in Morro Bay.

I would think the below info:

Assuming she was seen alone, possibly suspecting self harm.

The Tulare Police Department tracked McClure’s car to Morro Bay using GPS and contacted local authorities at 1:28 p.m., Mosqueda said.

A white BMW matching the description of the car was discovered in the vicinity of the Morro Strand State Beach Campground shortly after. Mosqueda said that there was nothing suspicious about the vehicle and that it was found properly parked, locked and secured.

Tulare police are investigating the case as a voluntary missing persons report.

Missing from Tulare. Her vehicle found legally parked in Morro Bay. Please call MBPD or Tulare PD if you have any info.

This is local for me. Many folks from the Central Valley/Tulare come to the coast to beat the summer heat. I wonder if Tiffany knows someone who lives in Morro Bay?

If LE think she is voluntarily missing, should we even have a thread for her? I'll report my comment and find out.

We'll pull the thread if it is determined she is voluntarily missing. So far, they are still investigating it and leaning that way. Please use report to tell us when it is determined one way or another.

Hmmm...this says her Yale license plate is missing but LE says there was nothing suspicious about the vehicle. I wonder where this information came from. ?

From the linked post:

She was driving her 2023 BMW 540i with a silver “Yale” license plate frame, which is also missing.
The sentence was poorly structured, there should have been a comma after "driving her BMW (add comma) with a silver Yale license plate frame, which is also missing". That would make it more clear that the whole vehicle was missing, NOT the license plate. As mentioned in other articles since linked, the car was found.

Morro Bay police say McClure was seen on surveillance video Monday night at the beach in the San Luis Obispo County city.

“So it’s important, I think, right now for the Tulare Police Department and, certainly, the Morro Bay Police Department to get that information out there because Ms. McClure’s family is concerned about her, and they just want to make sure she’s okay and get contact with her as soon as possible.”

“There’s going to be a lot of people in this area. Sometimes, people just aren’t aware if somebody needs to be contacted,” said Amy Watkins from the Morro Bay Police Department.

Morro Strand is located right next to a housing development. Locals are saying her car was found on Beachcomber. So I’m wondering if one of the homes cameras picked her up that night?

Not really anything new to report.

A search of the car yielded no additional evidence, and it was handed over to McClure’s family.

Tulare Police Department confirmed Monday that they believe McClure has family in the area.
