She has gone missing before and was found in a church, according to Ojai Police Chief Trina Newman. The public is asked to call 911 if they see her, so she can be safely returned to her family, who is worried about her.

Still missing.

“Searches have been conducted daily and throughout evening hours and will continue through the weekend,” said Ventura County deputies. “You can help in the search by walking your private property to check buildings and thick brush where Zyanya could find refuge.”

Residents are also asked to check home surveillance footage for sightings of the woman.

Search and rescue teams from Ventura, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, and Kern Counties have been involved in efforts to find Valora.

"We need her back," her family told FOX 11's Gigi Graciette.

She was last seen wearing a white tank top and did not have shoes on.

A tight-knit family is praying for the safe return of 21-year-old Zyanya Valora.

Her family explained she speaks English and Spanish but in recent months, she’s become nonverbal.

The search continues after a woman with special needs went missing in Ventura County.

An official with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office said the search is active.

Parents of missing 21-year-old Zyanya Valora, Damaris and Gabriel Valora, who live in Country Village Mobile Home Park at 11195 N. Ventura Ave. in Mira Monte, recorded a video in English and Spanish earlier this week, asking the public for help in finding their daughter, who they last saw in their home at 8 p.m. on Monday, June 24.

The video can be viewed online at TikTok - Make Your Day.

If anyone sees Zyanya (pronounced Zeeyanya, who also goes by Z), sheriff’s officials ask that they call 911. Because Zyanya has become increasingly nonverbal and is very shy, her parents say she might not respond to someone calling her name. They said it is best that if anyone sees her, they just keep her in their sights until law enforcement arrives to take her home. Her parents said it is also possible that Zyanya is hiding

"After seven days of looking for her, they stopped operations," mother Damaris Dac said. "We are now on the third week, and we don't have any clue of where she is at."

Her parents said that Zyanya's cell phone was last pinged at a nearby Airbnb on the morning of her disappearance.

While devastated, Gabriel continues sending texts to his daughter, hoping she will respond.

"Yesterday, I told her I was looking for her, for hours. Near the beach, near the railroad tracks," he said.

Their family, friends, and the community at large have all banded together to help the parents by putting up posters, hosting fundraisers, and doing group searches.
