i'll post it on all the other boards i frequent. wish i was on that coast.
As a new WS who is all the way across the country I must say that I am a tad bit disappointed. This post is not to offend but to vent ...
I am disappointed that some of the Floridians (include veteran WS members) who have this opportunity to look for this child, whether alive or not, and don't take it.
I am utterly frustrated being in California when all I want to do is fly to Orlando to help. Regardless of whether G & C show their appreciation or not I could care friggin less. It's NOT ABOUT THEM!!!!! I wouldn't want them to show their face there because they would be only doing it for appearance sake anyways.
It's about Caylee. Nothing more nothing less.
Someone wrote earlier that if they weren't already at a bankrupt budget they would be there ... my sentiments couldn't be any further.
So, instead of posting how you are close but can't go or are afraid to go, please suck it up and just go, for Caylee & for the hundreds of us that wish we could go but are too far.SoCaliMom
Can you come later than 8am? I mean if I'm not working and can find a ride with a friend to come with me would it be OK to come later? Do they still allow you to sign up?
Musikman - I was there from early this am until about 1pm. I was the heavyset blonde -bright striped shirt - hair pulled back. I was part of Pauls group on the search and then left. Which one were you?
I think alot more people would be out searching if they thought that Caylee was alive. It is hard work knowing what you might find, and even harder work just trying to find something. I was out there today for about 5 hours. So many people were there - in the heat, in the rain. Of all walks of life - all kinds of people - including two pregnant ladies. Yes the media was there - along with that Murt person who was just there to glorify it on his webcam.
He gave everyone who was there a bad taste in their mouths. NO one had anything negative to say - no one was in protest mode, everyone was talking - a very friendly group of people with one common bond. We all wanted the same thing - to see if we could find something - anything that would help. I give my thanks to those who stayed the entire day.... I know many probably did.
I dont want kudos or thanks - I felt compelled to go out today. Caylee needs to be brought home - any way. I just wish my health was better and I could have stayed the entire day. I am setting my alarm bright and early to see how this gals body holds up. If I can, I will be back - for as long as I could.
I think the work that TES does is simply amazing. They are a dedicated bunch. They are so talented at what they do it is really inspiring. We all felt honored to work with them.. I also think the volunteers that came out today were there for a common bond. Caylee needs to be brought home. As I said, I truly understand why others dont come and help.... if Casey reported her missing that day there would have been thousands helping.

Has anyone searched the obvious places? Casey said Caylee was close to home. The landfill isn't that far away from the home, but I know how dangerous searching there could be. What about the little lakes and ponds, and woods around the home. Also, the Anthony's backyard. Many people seem to feel that Caylee could be buried there.
raying: for Caylee
I can do a ride share for people in the Tampa area! For tomorrow morning..you can pm me!
Will they search on Monday since it's Labor Day? I could do Monday, but not tomorrow. I could drive over. I'm about 2 hours out but could drive it on Monday.
Let me know! I could probably get a friend to come with me.
Thanks!
