"The man is described as having red hair and an albino-like complexion with red facial stubble. He's approximately 5'8" tall, 150 pounds and very skinny.

He was wearing a white T-shirt, faded blue jeans and black slip-on boots. He carried a dark-coloured backpack.

He also told the woman his name was Ryan.

At the time he was riding an orange mountain bike with an orange helmet.

"Because the guy's on a bike, really our focus is on the area around Cadboro Bay – north Oak Bay, Ten Mile Point, the university area".

He could be a drifter with loose or no ties to the GTA area.

A good enough reason for him not to disguise his face during a crime in the middle of the day, as nobody close to him is in the area to recognize him.

Okay, the new arrests do not have anything to do with this red-haired poi.
Oddly enough, the poi that was arrested, ( in link posted up thread) also had hair that flipped up at the ears, he was wearing a trucker style cap.

Last month, a 24-year-old woman was attacked during a home invasion in the area of Deepwood Cres. and Greenland Rd., near Don Mills Rd. and Lawrence Ave. The woman, a hired cleaner, was working at the home on Friday, May 22, which was for sale at the time.

Wonder what he looked like when he had more hair?

I wouldn't be surprised if he was investigated for the Don Mills attack. At the same time, I think the landscaper is a separate case from the Don Mills attack. It would not surprise me, as I mentioned earlier, that the Don Mills attacker was doing similar type work, and may have seen the victim from an adjoining property. JMHO

Bumping this case and wondering if the perp stopped doing the possible work/activity that brought him to the neighbourhood, or has he moved on, maybe changed his look?
It is hard to imagine that this brutal attack was his first, or last, imo.

There is no way that this would be a one-off attack. DNA testing can take months; maybe he will be found to have committed other attacks before or since this one. Personally, I recall nothing further about this in the media.

It is speculative as to what he was doing in the area.

As previously discussed, the chances of him knocking on the door of a random vacant house, finding a woman alone cleaning inside and talking his way in on the fly are next to nothing, IMHO. He must have done some surveillance of the victim or the property, or both, ahead of time.

Although the suspect in a recent sex assault in little Italy, is described as dark-haired, and in the composite sketch looks a little rougher/older, than the red-haired suspect in this thread, i am reminded somehow of this alleged perp, fwiw..

Considering the boldness, imo, of the red-haired perp, can imagine him dying his hair black and committing another bold act.
