Kawartha Lakes police described Draven as four feet 10 inches tall with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt and dark jogging pants.''

“Draven is autistic, may hide and not respond when called,” said investigators, who are asking residents to check their property, backyards, and outbuildings.

“Emergency Services are using all resources to search the area of Queen St. N., east of the Scugog River, by foot, boat, drone and helicopter.”

Anyone who may have seen Draven Graham is asked to call police at 705-324-5252. ''

''The Ontario Volunteer Emergency Response Team has joined the large-scale search effort to locate missing Lindsay boy Draven Graham, 11, who was last seen on Queen Street on Sunday (June 12),

Early Monday morning (June 13), Kawartha Lakes police issued a statement on social media indicating the Ontario Volunteer Emergency Response Team had joined first responders to search for Draven throughout the night.

As of 7:30 a.m. Monday, the boy, who police say is autistic, had not been located.

In a press release issued just before 7 a.m., Sergeant Deb Hagarty said police have received numerous inquiries about the search effort and that police will issue a formal statement at the Lindsay police station at 10 a.m., Monday morning (June 13).

Draven Graham went missing on Sunday, June 12, and is described as 4’10”, slim build, brown hair, wearing a blue t-shirt and dark jogging pants. Police are asking everyone in Lindsay to check their properties for Draven. Police say Draven is autistic and may hide and not respond when called.

"Expect to see a heavy police presence in the Queen St, Caroline St and Colborne St area as Kawartha Lakes Police continue to search the area with the assistance of the OPP Search & Rescue Team,” reads a police Facebook message Sunday (June 12) afternoon.

Draven was last seen on Queen Street in Lindsay at 3 p.m.

Shortly before 9 p.m. on Sunday police took to social media again to ask that vehicles be kept away from Rivera Park to allow room for emergency service vehicles and reiterated calls for all Lindsay residents to check their property for Draven.''

He is described as four-feet-10 inches tall with a slim build.

Draven, who was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt and dark jogging pants, was not wearing any shoes and carried a white tablet.

''Hagarty, who said there is no indication Draven has been abducted, told members of the media that since going missing he's been observed walking northbound on Colborne Street East, near Rivera Park.
The boy’s clothing has since been recovered in that area, she noted.
Police from several jurisdictions, including the OPP, along with volunteers searched overnight for Draven, whom Hagarty said has “limited verbal skills” and a “serious irritation” to touch. Searchers remain on foot and boat. They’re also using a drone, a helicopter, and police dogs.
“(Draven) likes to hide and is not likely to come out if called by name,” she said, adding one of the best ways for people to help is by doing a thorough search of their property.
Police are also asking anyone with video surveillance from that area to contact them.

I moved from Lindsay just seven years ago. The part of town he is missing from, is the worst neighbourhood in Lindsay. New housing has been built, and I believe is for those on social assistance. Drugs and weapons are very common. He would have the river locks, and the river right around him. Rivera Park is fairly large..where the police have set up.I so hope he is found safe. This newer housing has been mentioned on social media, as a complete failure.

JMO but children with sensory differences may prefer the feeling of gravel underfoot to the feeling of a shoe. Same with preferring feeling cold vs the friction of clothing etc.

and his clothes were wet when found. People are leaving out things that may attract him. He loves dinosaurs, and his teddy bear has been found on St. Peter street

"He wasn't on the couch, where he was before I went in there," he said. "I asked my daughter if he was in her room, and she said 'No.'"

He said he then went to the front door, but noticed it was unlocked.

“As I ran out the door, I noticed it was unlocked, and I have another latch on top, so he managed to jerry-rig everything together at the same time to get the door open.”

''Draven Graham’s father remains optimistic that his 11-year-old autistic son is playing a game of hide-and-go-seek that’s gone on much longer than anyone is comfortable with.''

Graham said he went over to Queen Victoria Public School because they were there the day before. Graham said Draven loves parks and being outdoors.

“He’s probably thinking he’s just playing with Dad,” said Graham.

It’s not long after that Draven was reported missing and that his clothes had been found.

Graham said his son also took a tablet with them, something he enjoys playing with. Graham said a neighbour’s surveillance camera picked up Draven walking down Caroline Street holding that tablet. This was shortly after 3 p.m. on Sunday. Graham said other rumours are swirling as well that there may have been a sighting of Draven on Sunday night around 7:45 p.m.

“He’s a great kid, friendly. He has high functioning autism,” said Graham.

However, Graham said his son only speaks in small sentences and may not respond to his name.''

''The boy’s disappearance had prompted calls for an Amber Alert, but OPP are reminding the public that Amber Alerts are only used for abducted children who are possibly in danger.
Now, an online petition is calling for the ‘Draven Alert,’ named in honour of the boy.
It would be used for any missing children with autism or special needs who could be in danger.
The petition already had more than 11,000 signatures by 8 a.m. Tuesday.''
