I would think by the way that the weather is (cold and wet) he would probably get under a tree for protection. But tree branches are often to the ground he would be so hard to find. So so sad.

That poor woman! My heart goes out to her.

Good news to hear they found some of his things. Though I have yet to read in any of the articles what it is they actually found. Anyone else read somewhere what was found? CBC reported the same as the article above so I didn’t bother linking it.

I must be dense here... his "final path" sounds like a euphemism of course, but I'm lost - was Jordan's body found? Family is finding comfort in assuming he perished but have no confirmation, is that right?

Parents of N.L. man missing in B.C. park say his remains found by volunteer

''PRINCETON, BRITISH COLUMBIA - The parents of a young man from Newfoundland and Labrador missing in a remote British Columbia park say remains they believe belong to their son have been found.

Greg and Josie Naterer have kept up a relentless, co-ordinated search for their son, Jordan Naterer, since he went missing on Oct. 12, 2020, while on a solo hike in Manning Provincial Park, about 175 kilometres east of Vancouver.''

I came to have tender feelings and deep admiration for Jordan's parents, who fought so hard, in vain, to have the searches continue throughout the winter. I so hoped a miracle would have had him found alive.

I pray for solace for his family, and for all those who loved him.

Sad news about Mr Greatix:

According to Princeton RCMP, the remains believed to belong to Greatrix were discovered by Princeton Ground Search and Rescue (GSAR) and RCMP, approximately 2 km from the Monument 78 trailhead, near Boyd Meadow. The man’s belongings were located nearby.

Hughes said there was evidence to suggest Greatrix “may have been researching the Naterer missing.”
