Thanks ... was hoping for more than that tho ... Do we get the feeling that they are still near Gillam ?

I'm not sure what I think about that.

I know these dudes are knuckleheads, but torching the car at the end of the line--basically screaming "WE'RE HERE!"--without an alternative way out of the area is so galactically stupid I can't even wrap my head around it.

But on the other hand I would think by now it would have been noticed if they had taken another vehicle by whatever means.

I guess I lean towards them no longer being in the area, but I definitely don't feel strongly about that.

He didn’t have have one because he just didn’t.......or he didn’t have one because it’d been revoked?

He likely doesn't have one. It takes one year just to get a novice license that has a ton of restrictions after getting your learner's permit in BC. Another year after that you can apply for an unrestricted license.

Meaning, he wouldn't have been licensed long enough to have it revoked most likely. Or he was caught excessively speeding or DUI, both of which are immediate suspensions on a novice license.

Question about the landscape in Manitoba... not being from the area or even seen it in person . I get the feeling that there is pretty much nothing between cities ? Kinda like driving in the middle of Nevada ... Are there lots of dirt roads unmapped ? Or is it more like forested trees etc I get the feeling it’s a loooong way between exits .

These two guys are really not very smart. If they had not burned their on truck in B.C. but only hid it would have been days more till it was found, if at all, and days more till the RCMP named them suspects, if at all. If they had not burned the RAV4 very possible no one would know they might be near Gillam.
Maybe it is all about the thrill for them. Makes me think they are less likely trying to escape, and more likely playing an evade-the-police game ending badly.
Good points.

I've also wondered about the first car burning. If they hadn't done that and been involved in the second murder, I don't know that they would have been on anyone's radar since nobody expected them to be in the area at that time. The murders of LF and CD could easily have gone quite cold if it was just a random impulse killing in the middle of the night and nobody was around to see BS or KM or their vehicle, which seems to be the case.

This is one incredible case. The area that's being impacted/scared by this pair is huge.

While legal gun ownership in Canada is of course very low, people aren't likely to admit on surveys that they have them. Pretty easy to get one in the US and to cross the border with said weapon.

I'm not seeing in the MSM what caliber weapon was used, though. Or type.

Someone mentioned they seem like the Columbine shooters. That may be true.

It also makes me wonder if they'll end their spree in a mass shooting type crime. And allow themselves to be killed in it.

What weapons do they have access to? Do we know? And no vehicle now that we know of?

A coworker of mine uses tov
It is a densely forested region that also has sprawling wetlands. It gets cold early and quick. I don’t give a **** how outdoorsy they think they are (especially without drinking water), they will die out there eventually.

I also imagine that if the RCMP know that they are on foot, or at least are trying to make sure they know they are on foot. They will be doing sweeps at night with thermal detection. If they are on foot they aren’t going ANYWHERE quickly. The RCMP will just put together a gameplan and then they are toast.

Unless a bear or wolves get them first.

I hope a bear or wolf gets them
