I'm confused by the above bolded sentence. Do you mean RW moved his loot from Orleans to the Ottawa home? Because clearly LE removed the evidence from this Ottawa residence.

I can't believe that LE didn't search the Orleans home, nor that RW would be stupid enough to leave any behind.

According to all reports, the break-ins began after RW and MEH purchased the Tweed cottage. It's also hard to believe that RW would move his trophies from Tweed to Orleans. My guess is that until the Ottawa construction was complete, the Tweed souvenirs were kept in the cottage and the Orleans ones in Orleans, with those later transferred to Ottawa.

yes sorry I wasn't clear in reference to the "loot".. What I meant to say was RW collected his loot from the Orlean's homes that he raided and it must have been kept there until he moved to his Westboro home. There was a break of approx 6 mths when they(the William's) were in transit so it must have been stored along with their furniture etc. in some storage unit.

It will be interesting to read the statement of facts tomorrow to see whether or not it was stuffed. Isn't he blaming all of this on the loss of his own cat? Maybe he did steal her pet as a replacement for his own - after reading yesterday's evidence against him, there is not one thing that this man could do or say that would surprise me.

This B & E refers to the home of Laurie M, who lived three doors down from RW in Tweed. Would he have really expected to get away with keeping a live cat that he had stolen so close to its original owner? Even if he kept it indoors, cats love to perch on windowsills. Also, he went around showing Larry J. and others pics of his cat, Rosebud. Must have been a different cat.

Any person (even a sub-human one like RW), who loved animals, especially cats, would not have stolen and killed a one. We've all read how much he loved these animals. This has to be some kind of mistake.

Comeau was talking on the phone that night. The phone was later found under her bed.

Seven days after the break-in, #ColRW returns to her home. He turned off his blackberry, parked his vehicle in wooded area.

Williams took photos of Comeau's military uniform, sex toys

Williams had met Comeau once before. He had access to her schedule, knew she was away. He broke into her home.

Greg McArthur - Col. Williams learned that Ms. Comeau lived alone when she accompanied him on a military flight. As her commander, he had access to her personal information and her home address. The first time he broke into her house, before the murder, he waited until she was away on a military flight and stole some lingerie and took some pictures of himself wearing the clothing.

Whoa. Now I'm wondering if anyone still wants to order up copies of the documents from the DND obtained under FOI legislation by the media. That would involve giving out a name and address...

Say, can anyone recall that Tweed police activity summary report for September 2009, giving scant details of the September sexual assaults? I seem to recall that police dogs were used to track the attacker, but they lost the scent. There was some indication that the perp might have gotten away via the water.

[11:11 AM]

Instead of going to bed, Comeau went to the basement to look for her cat. She was wearing only a shawl. The cat was staring at Williams.

She did not know who he was. His face was covered. She screamed and called him a *advertiser censored*. He subdued her with blunt impact to her head using a red flashlight.

Drops of blood and a plastic zip tie was found near the furnace on the basement floor.

[11:09 AM]

Seeing a floor plan of the house. He concealed himself near the furnace in the basement for about 30 minutes waiting for Comeau to go to bed. Seeing photos of her empty, unfinished basement.

Greg McArthur - Col. Williams took two photos of her, bound and helpless.

TimothyAppleby - Like her father, Cpl. Comeau was a career soldier. The sense of betrayal within the Armed Forces over what was done to her by her commanding officer cannot be overstated.

Greg McArthur - Her back was badly bruised by a pin sticking out of the pole.

Greg McArthur - Using clothing in the basement, he tied her to a pole. Her arms were extremely bruised.
