<modsnip> The whole abstract by way of theory with incorporated profiling that I have put forward is based on some sort of proof and that can be found in the following link.

As in the Amber Tuccaro cell phone recording we are not talking about little life experience rather a lifetime of experience. All areas of previous reference apply and I can't really help the fact that LE refuses to recognize all dysfunctional attachments or for that matter 7 confirmations with 4 to CBC and 3 of those 4 to Project KARE or the fact that at the time of this release LE only confirmed 1 report as being recorded.

Amber was not a prostitute; however, I suppose that hitchhiking could be closely associated by way of opportunity. I have noticed that on several occasions the voice sounds like a cold blooded killer and to hear the tone of the con in his voice is not a great feat. To my belief when listening to the monster there would not be an avenue that he wouldn't travel down... a con is a con and when it's what you've done all your life it doesn't matter if it's business or personal, a con is all you know.

MOO

Serial killer con men typically kill women NOT in the high risk lifestyle of prostitution. Prostitute killers are typically opportunity and urge killers.

snipped for space

You're right... I got it. Thanks for separating them. That's where the difference is and that's where the difficulty in separation has come into play. The con killer would have more time to stalk and play the game (hence the missing who don't fall into high risk) while the prostitute/bar pick up killer has to take it on the run, so to speak. But that doesn't mean that in a pinch the con can't adjust back to a more timely acquisition, it just means that maybe it's become boring for him. Less time to fantasize about killing you while he's talking to you. I can't believe I missed that, how two can seem like one yet how time constraints can dictate different m/o's. And it's still JMO.

"Imo Mary Ann was meant to be found - or at least evidence that she was in the area where she was found.

If this happened a number of times during that era - it would paint a different picture for me. As a one-off - meticulously planned by someone with much to gain.

Leaves one guy imo."

snipped

With Mary Ann you have to go back to the genetics before the third copy of chromosome 21 was incorporated (trisomy 21). There was nothing that LE could get by way of DNA evidence and her car was very carefully cleaned, that would never happen post trisomy 21.

Does it jump from Charlene in April 2005 to Amber on Aug 18/2010? Maybe the missing lists will cover some of this period and if applicable that would indicate areas of concentrated remains that are yet to be found.

Have you looked into and compiled a list of who was missing at that time? Would be most helpful imo.

When I became homeless years ago, I fell victim to people who offered me jobs because I so desperately wanted an opportunity to make enough money to get out of a poverty stricken situation. I was tricked more than once and put into situations that were not very nice. I wanted to make something of myself so I could take care of my kids and even prove to everyone that I could support my children. I wanted a job, a skill, but I was sick so it had to fit into my lifestyle and that was hard to find.

Another thing I couldn't find was a safe place to live that I could afford. I was poor and ill and potential landlords knew this and i moved from one unsuitable housing situation to a worse and even more dangerous one when it got too bad to handle. I just couldn't find a safe lace to live where I wasn't being exploited. If someone had offered me a place to live then I would of taken it out of desperation.

I was was so sick of the drugs the doctors were giving me to combat my illness that I desired illegal marijuana and someone could of easily exploited me with that information and did.

When you are sick and live on a disability of a grand a month and after rent and bills then where do your meals come from? People can't even pay the bills never mind pay for fresh produce. People are having to become criminals just to survive. The food banks have slim pickings and you can only go twice a month for a little box of stuff that will last a couple of days. What about dental care and eye care? There isn't any unless I am missing something. If you have an addiction than how are you going to overcome it and succeed? I worry that far too many people are falling through the cracks and we need to help our most vulnerable.

What about this guy? His acquittal earlier this year will be appealed.

... there is video of the pair leaving the hotel's bar and heading to Barton's room and then Barton leaves the room the next morning carrying a bag. A few minutes later he checks out, but is no longer carrying the bag.

After meeting a fellow furniture mover, Barton returned to the hotel room and called 911, said Godfrey.

Then, on March 18, an 11-person jury – nine men and two women, none of them native – acquitted Mr. B of first-degree murder and chose not to convict him of the lesser offence of manslaughter. The Crown has filed an appeal and will present its case to a panel of judges, likely next year. “The Crown appealed the acquittal, after careful review of the case, on the basis of legal errors in the charge to the jury,” an Alberta Justice spokeswoman said in an e-mail, referring to the judge’s instructions to the jury before deliberations.

It's not hard to stitch together once you see the pattern; however, the problem is that the pattern can take years to see in it's entirety and imo, the reasoning behind this is because there is more than one involved. It's called the hand off system and it works beautiful with a small group. Would you ever expect to be picked up by two sk's, let alone one? And references are always good aren't they? Especially, when an acquaintance says so.

This would be the m/o that was used on the Jack Family that went missing on August 1, 1989 out of Prince George. Of course it's a way to lure a victim but as far as I know that's the only time it was used successfully on a wife, husband and two small children, by way of a job offer.

<modsnip> methinks that Svekla was just the small fry, carrying out someone else's sick desires. Svekla knew all the girls on the list you made prior. Many of them were kept at a place in Edmonton and before they hit the streets, Svekla would be standing in the doorway to their room giving them a long drag of cocaine. Doubt he worked alone, and one of the girls who did get out of that rat-race even knew the other members of the team of men. It apparently is so much bigger than Svekla and his guys.

Police program reaches out to escorts working in Fort McMurray

Responding to advertisements posted online, last week police officers posed as customers and arranged dates with escorts throughout Fort McMurray in an effort to help them.

Once an officer explained their true identity, the escorts had an opportunity to speak about their lifestyle and safety concerns with investigators, many representing agencies targeting major crime and human trafficking.

Probing the mystery of Edmonton’s killing fields
Project KARE was an RCMP-led investigation into a series of seemingly related murders and disappearances in the Edmonton area. Since at least the late 1980s, women, many of whom were street-sex workers, had been found murdered in the forests and fields on the city's outskirts. A grossly disproportionate number of them were indigenous. Edmonton's large number of unsolved cases jumped out as The Globe and Mail built its database of missing and murdered indigenous women and girls last year. A product of the fallout from policing failures that allowed Vancouver-area serial killer Robert Pickton to murder undetected for years, Project KARE represented a concerted effort by multiple policing agencies to solve these crimes and apprehend the persons responsible.

''Defence lawyer Dino Bottos will deliver an opening statement to the jury on Monday morning. Then he will put Barton on the witness stand to testify in his own defence.

The trial was briefly put on hold on Monday after Barton awaited results from a COVID-19 test. He tested negative and returned to the courtroom Thursday.''

Metis and Cree mother Cindy Gladue is shown in a photo presented as a court exhibit in this undated handout photo. An Ontario trucker found guilty for killing a woman in his Edmonton hotel room a decade ago is to learn his sentencing Tuesday. Bradley Barton was convicted in February in the manslaughter of Cindy Gladue, a 36-year-old Metis and Cree woman, who died in his room at the Yellowhead Inn in June 2011. THE CANADIAN PRESS/HO - Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta

''Medical experts testified the mother of three had four times the legal limit of alcohol in her system when she was left to bleed to death in a bathtub from a severe wound caused by rough sex.

Gladue's relatives bowed their heads when the judge said there is no sentence that will bring Gladue back or undo the intergenerational trauma the woman's death has caused her family.

It was the second trial for Barton.

A jury found him not guilty in 2015 of first-degree murder, which sparked rallies and calls for justice for Indigenous women.

More coming ...''

All accounts have Amber catching a ride from an unknown stranger to Edmonton. One account on her Facebook Missing page has cited that she was on the highway hitchhiking. For all intense purposes he would have had to let her get into his vehicle with her phone. The recorded call lasted 17 minutes which is the timed distance from Nisku to the area in which she was found, so she would have been on it around the same time she entered into the vehicle with him and there would have been no way to get the phone away from her on the main highway without a fight which could have put him in the ditch. There is no way that he would have tried to get that phone until he got to the gravel road away from oncoming traffic and the last word we hear is "gravel".

Due to the hitchhiking circumstances Amber would have been an opportunity not to be passed by, cell phone and all, while it was still daylight. That's a large comfort zone that states confidence in his abilities regardless of the factors that are against him. The phone call wouldn't have mattered to him as long as his name was never mentioned and furthermore, what are the chances that it would be recorded? He was probably caught up in the moment in which he thought luck was on his side in finding a native woman hitchhiking.... again, those two combinations dictate a comfort zone.
I have a theory of how he got the phone away from her, and how he was able to knock her out unconscious without losing control of the vehicle.

I believe Amber wanted to exit the vehicle so she removed her seatbelt.

This monster who I believe has done this many times over, saw her unbuckle her seat belt so he accelerated his speed and slammed on his brakes, causing amber to be launched forward & hit her head off the vehicles dash & causing her to drop her phone or the phone to be launched out of her hand and possibly knocking the battery out of it too.

I think he pulled over on this rural road and pulled her out of the vehicle while she was semi unconscious and I think he used that opportunity to strangle her and most likely sexually assault her.

I think this sick individual did this same method with previous victims and I believe he lives in the city, but grew up outside of the city, most likely south of Edmonton.

This invidual is a sexual sadist and has a distain for women, is a loner who comes off as soft spoken and quiet. He’s likely to be in his late 50s as he has been doing these crimes since at least the early 80s.he takes pleasure in choking to overcome resistance. He knows the back roads well, and probably borrows vehicles off friends / family/ uses a work vehicle.

Of course this is just my theory.

He will be caught. The truth will always come out, and justice will prevail.

Plausible theory about how Amber might have been subdued, imo.

I'm not sure how relevant this is, but I was digging through the EPL newspaper archives and I found two articles that mentioned Georgette Flint; specifically, they mentioned how Ritalin and Talwin were found in her body.

"Georgette Flint, a 20-year-old drag-area prostitute, was such an addict... A cause of death is unknown but quantities of Talwin and Ritalin were found in Flint's body."

Owens, G. (1988, September 26). Drug addiction a 'time bomb'. Edmonton Journal, B1.

"Traces of Ritalin and Talwin, combined to make "poor man's heroin," were found in her body. She was 20 years old. No cause of death was determined."

McGinnis, S. (2004, July 4). No links to northern killings. Calgary Herald, B4.

Ritalin is a stimulant, while Talwin is a painkiller. I know Flint was an addict, so the fact that there were drugs in her system isn't surprising; is it possible that the killer (whoever that may be) was not only targeting high-risk people, but high-risk people who were already inebriated? It would make it harder for them to fight back. Since Flint's cause of death was never determined (at least not anywhere I can find it), and her body was already mostly decomposed by the time she was found on Sept 13. 1988, I don't know if there was any evidence of a struggle or not.

Are positive tox screens a trend in the victims? I've been looking through this thread between my classes so I'm still trying to catch up on all the articles.

I just saw this Youtube video
It made me want to know more, and I found this tread. This is so very sad.
