I think I have this right...as long as you clearly state that it is a rumor you may post it. As far as Facebook postings go, you can post the link to it but can't directly quote from it....that's the way I understand it.

At a press conference Saturday afternoon, RCMP could only confirm the body was found by people in the woods. Police sealed off the area around the body and were bringing in experts to help with the investigation.

Sgt. Gary Cameron said he did not know how long it would take to identify the body.

According to sources close to Sabrina, the body found near Shenstone is hers. Sabrina's brother's Facebook seems to corroborate this.

According to Facebook, the family still doesn't know whether the body found is Sabrina's. They were told that she had been found, but authorities are now saying that a positive identification cannot be made yet.

Albert County, New Brunswick isn't a high-crime area at all, so it's unlikely that the body belongs to someone unrelated to this case. However, anything is possible. I cannot imagine not knowing. Sabrina and her family remain in my thoughts.

A body discovered Saturday in a wooded area near Shenstone, N.B., has been identified as missing 25-year-old Sabrina Patterson and it's a case of homicide, RCMP say.

Her body was discovered by a man who was searching the area for Patterson, who had been missing since Oct. 29. The man then called police, who secured the area.

An autopsy is being conducted to determine the cause and time of death.

SHENSTONE, N.B. - Police are confirming that a body discovered in a wooded area about 20 kilometres south of Moncton is 25-year-old Sabrina Patterson.

RCMP are launching a murder investigation, but a news release says they haven't laid any charges yet.

The body was discovered in the Shenstone area on Saturday by a man who was searching the area for Patterson.

She's been missing since Oct. 29.

An autopsy is being conducted to determine the cause and time of death.
 
I just found this link...some interesting detail regarding Mr. Prosser

Last week, RCMP reported they had found Patterson's boyfriend after he'd been missing for three days.
Wonder why he would be missing 3 days during Patterson's missing status??..Doesnt sound like he was up to anything good???

Prosser was later charged with assaulting Patterson. Police also accused Prosser of stealing Patterson's cellphone and breaching a court undertaking that he have no contact with her.


Police allege the offences took place Oct. 9.


Prosser is scheduled to return to court Tuesday for a bail hearing.

"As you can imagine, there's a lot of evidence pouring in," he said. "So we'll be looking at many people. But time is of the essence. Right now, (our focus) is to collect all the evidence at the scene."

Candlelight vigil held for N.B. woman

A vigil was held in Riverview on Sunday night for Sabrina Patterson, the 25-year-old woman whose body was found on the weekend in a wooded area in southern New Brunswick.

Patterson had been missing for a week before her body was discovered near Hillsborough on Saturday. The Codiac RCMP is treating her death as a homicide.

People gathered, burning candles, outside the Riverview home where Patterson lived on Sunday night.

Assault suspect Prosser still in jail

Bail hearing adjourned for a week; Crown lays new charge

A Shenstone man accused of assaulting his former girlfriend will remain in custody for at least another week after his bail hearing was adjourned yesterday.

. Frederick Bernard Prosser, 31, appeared in Moncton provincial court with defence lawyer Scott Fowler. He's charged with assaulting Sabrina Patterson on Oct. 9, stealing her cell phone and breaching an undertaking to have no contact with her. Prosser also faces a charge of assaulting Patterson, stemming from an incident that occurred prior to the Oct. 9 incident.

Crown prosecutor Annie St. Jacques laid another charge yesterday, accusing Prosser of breaching an undertaking by failing to notify the RCMP of any change of address or occupation between Oct. 25 and Nov. 4.

Fowler asked Judge Anne Dugas-Horsman for an adjournment, saying he's waiting on disclosure from the Crown. The judge set the bail hearing for Nov. 16 at 1:30 p.m.
