RCMP Police continue to search for Shannon White, who has not been seen since about 8 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 1, when her black Jeep TJ was seen being driven from her Lower Sahali home.

She did not arrive at work that morning and has not returned home to her dog, Buddy, all of which is out of character for White, according to police.

Kamloops Mounties have issued an appeal to the public to be on the lookout for the 32-year-old White, who stands 5-foot-5, weighs 180 pounds and has blond hair, green eyes and fair skin.

White sometimes wears glasses, has a Medusa lip piercing and a tongue piercing and several large arm tattoos, including a portrait of her dog.

Friends of White’s have created posts online, spreading the word about her disappearance in a plea for information. In those posts, friends have stated White’s Jeep may have been found parked downtown, on Nicola Street between Second and Third avenues. KTW is trying to confirm the status of the Jeep with Kamloops RCMP.

It gets more interesting! Her vehicle was being driven, not she was driving her vehicle. She was expected at work, so it's unlikely she went off-roading.

It does appear off, but I have known other mispers who have headed out in the morning ostensibly for work, but never in fact went, and disappeared elsewhere. You don't know what was on her mind and what was going on the days preceding, over the weekend.

I suppose they say the vehicle was 'seen being driven' as unable to clearly see who the driver was?

Does she live in the mountains or the valley? Where is her home and work location? What would be the likely route to work? The weather in Kamloops the last couple of days has been cool, cloudy and rainy. Which is pretty normal. It rains a lot in Kamloops. November 1st was 4 degrees C. Black ice is a danger in areas.

Oops, don't know what I did there, was trying to add an edit.

Her car was found on Nicola St. There is a counselling service there, Synergy, looks like a small private residential home. Is it possible she was under some stress and went there? Why would she leave her pet, though?

According to FB page her vehicle has been located in downtown Kamloops.

Edited to add: I don't know where on Nicola St the vehicle was found but there is a counselling service Synergy Counselling close by. Is it possible she went there for some reason?

With respect, there are a lot of places she COULD have been going to on or near Nicola Street, ie cafes, a doctor. But we don't know a) if it WAS her who left the car there, or dumped by someone else, and b) whether if it was her, there was some other reason.

Kamloops RCMP confirm that the Jeep belonging to Shannon White was found on the 200-block of Nicola Street downtown, but the search for her continues.

In an update on Wednesday morning, spokesperson Const. Crystal Evelyn says White’s Jeep was found around the same time police put out a press release asking for help in finding White, who has not been seen or heard from since around 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 1.

“We are asking the public to continue to help us look for Ms. White and to provide any information that could assist in finding her,” Evelyn said. “If anyone saw her vehicle between Monday and yesterday afternoon, Nov. 2, around 3:30 p.m., please let us know.”

Of course, that is possible. But if she went to a cafe or a doctor there would have been other people who may have seen her there and spoken up. There are businesses like counselling services, however, that protect their clients privacy. It's just one possibility I mentioned. With all due respect.

Does anyone know when she was last physically seen? Not her car. Who is the last known person to be with her? Seems like that is always the best starting point.

Not sure how to post a link. Here is an article with some new information.

A missing Kamloops woman's close circle of friends continue to spread the news of her disappearance on social media while they hope and pray for her safe return.

Shannon White, 32, has not been heard from since Monday morning. Yesterday, Nov. 2, police located her Jeep TJ in the 200 block of Nicola Street in Kamloops.

Hollee Brown has been a close friend of White’s for a couple of years, part of a tight knit circle of friends. She said the group of friends were already feeling concerned when White didn’t show up for work at the accounting department at Kamloops Hyundai Monday morning.

“Her co-worker and friend sent Shannon a message when she didn’t arrive at work and never received a response,” Brown said. “This is really out of character for Shannon, she would typically call in to say she was going to be late. It is my understanding that Shannon’s landlord saw her Jeep leaving for work at a normal time that morning.”

Brown said the group of friends grew more concerned when White did not arrive to her home in Sahali to look after her dog, Buddy, that day.

“Buddy is almost 13 and she has had him since he was a puppy,” Brown said. “Buddy goes everywhere with her. She would never just leave him. He is being taken care of by friends. We are all making sure Buddy is OK because we know how important that is to Shannon.”

Brown said she and her family recently moved to Vancouver Island after living in Kamloops for years. She said the last time she saw White was a couple of weeks ago for dinner.

“We got together and got caught up on our lives, my move, our jobs,” Brown said. “She didn’t mention if she was seeing someone or if anything out of the ordinary was happening in her life. I believe she is single.”

Shannon is a part of club of Jeep enthusiasts, and Brown said Shannon’s biggest passions in life are off-roading in her Jeep and being with her dog.

So, going roughly by areas, home to work is in other direction to where car was found, although she could have gone via Summit Drive to both.

Am I right? It's 2.30am here, not really fully alert!

Do we actually know what street SW lives on in Lower Sahali? Lower Sahali boundaries are within Columbia Ave to the TransCanada Hwy and moves north east at a sharp angle to include Thor Ave. Since she has a landlord, I presume she lives in an apartment building in Lower Sahali. The majority of them appear to be on Arrowstone Dr, most other buildings are detached homes. So I randomly chose a building as her starting point to drive to Kamloops Hyundai which is on Notre Dame Dr. That's just slightly less than 3 km and about a 5 minute drive. If she left work around 8 am, she would have arrived within minutes. Would she have stopped at the Starbuck's that's on the corner of Columbia and Notre Dame? It probably has a drive through and cameras.

If she actually drove to the 200 block on Nicola St from her apartment it also takes about 5 minutes from Arrowstone Dr.

She was last seen at 8 am although it hasn't been verified by whom. Kamloops Hyundai opens at 8:30 am so she left home in plenty of time to get there at a leisurely pace perhaps including having a coffee somewhere. There's also a Starbuck's near Nicola St. I'm just using Starbuck's as a possible stop since many people seem to crave Starbuck's in the morning.

I have read that Kamloops has had a few attempted carjackings in the last couple of months.
