Shelley Desrochers - Please Bring Me Home
DESROCHERS, Shelley
Shelley Desrochers was last seen in the area of Lorne Avenue and English Street in east London by a police officer on January 2nd, 2016. She was 42 years-old at the time. Shelley’s sister Laura describes her as a lovable person who enjoyed spending time with her family. She had fallen into a troubled time in her life and was struggling with substance abuse and PTSD. There have been many theories about Shelley’s disappearance such as running off to start a new life, accidental death, and that she met with foul play due to her “high risk lifestyle”, but these are still just theories. Police recovered Shelley’s purse in a home known for high drug related activity; her health card was found in the parking lot of a walk-in clinic on Hamilton road three years after she went missing.
Laura notes that the last time she spoke to visit Shelley on December 31st of 2015 nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary. Shelley had plans to go to her boyfriend’s house. There has been a lot of media attention, posters in the area and a podcast completed by Karla Tolstoy called, Finding Shelley, yet there has been no sign of Shelley to date.
