''We searched the beach and off the shore, the public trails and canvassed neighbourhoods for information,” Day said.
He says whatever information they found has been passed on to the RCMP.
Woodcock’s mother, Donna, has yet to get the news she's been waiting for, but she's hopeful her daughter is still out there and is just unaware of the search that’s carrying on.
“I’m holding a vision of her coming home safely," Donna said, adding some tips have come in and have brought her comfort.
Stephanie's family has not heard from her since Sept. 1, though it’s not the first time her daughter has lost contact with the family for a short period of time. She has also spent much of the summer camping, without much in the way of technology.
Donna said her phone broke months ago and she lost her iPad, which RCMP have since found.''

"She was a free spirit, who would go where she was guided,” Donna said. "She loves helping people, she’s a sweet soul, with a beautiful heart looking to help everyone she can."

Way cool, from link, ty..
''His drone will hover above the trees and send back thermal images. There will be some limitations to his search, both from wood cover but also because of limitations on the technololgy.''
''In the meantime, he’d like more people to join the search of Woodcock which has been organized on a Facebook Page.''
