I looked up the suspects name and there were Downeys out East and 1 name was linked to a murder. Hmmm I wonder if this guy was any relation?

Body of Taliyah Marsman found, Calgary police say murder charges pending

The suspect’s name will not be released by police until charges are formally laid, which is expected to happen late Thursday night. However, sources have confirmed to Global News the suspect is Edward Downey. He now faces two counts of first-degree murder.

Seriously, all I want to do right now is cry my heart out. That's going to come later when I'm not so flippin' angry. RIGHT NOW? Let me just say, the people on this planet I have the utmost respect for? Are those people pictured in this image on the far left. Men and women in blue who not only lay their OWN lives on the line every day, but who also deal with pieces of human trash like this, knowing full well that who they're handling, have snuffed out the lives of innocent people. THESE people who conduct themselves with the utmost professionalism despite what they may be feeling in their gut? These people are my heroes.

I've been offline at church, and I'm not ashamed to admit I did my fair share of praying and crying while I was there. The last time I checked in here there had been an arrest, but no sign of this precious little girl.

I logged in here as soon as I could, and the moment I saw the Amber Alert had been removed from Taliyah's thread, my heart hit the floor.
I'm struggling to find the words to express the utter pain and outrage I'm feeling at this moment.
Every image I've seen of Taliyah has been so beautiful, I couldn't imagine anyone harming her.
This is devastating beyond words.
