Last time we were searching acreages we were looking for Nathan O'Brien and his Grandparents. A chill just went up my spine.

A reporter (@Valfortney) said this is the same range road where they looked for Nathan 2 years ago :(

I don't think dad is involved. He sounds exhausted and worn out to me.

Sorry if this has been posted already. Any thoughts on CM interview?

I know he isn't the one in custody but his answers make me uneasy. "just trying to stay strong for my son...*silence*...and my daughter"

I don't put much stock into interviews of affected family and friends. Their emotions are all over the place, and understandable. But that period of silence certainly is noticeable.

It would be interesting to have an expert on voice or word choice analysis.

Kind of didn't feel right to me either.

Interesting that he mentioned he was cooperating with police.

I am hoping to plant a positive thought in everyone's head :

The Amber Alert remains in effect! Which means they do not have indication that Taliyah isn't alive. Because of the strict guidelines for the Amber Alert, they must cancel it if this has become a recovery effort in order to maintain the integrity of the Amber alert program.

I just wanted to to throw that out there as I know seeing them searching fields and whatnot appears bad, as long as that alert is still in effect there is hope!

Two reminders were posted yesterday and a link to Websleuths Social Media Rules. Again, pics and content from non-official (or non-approved) social media sources are NOT ALLOWED. We simply cannot take pics or content from private social media accounts. Please review the social media rules that were previously posted. This is the last warning.

Sorry folks, but if it happens again, Time Outs will be issued.

Very good point!! Yes, that is a positive takeaway!

I kinda don't think they're looking for Taliyah right now. I think they're looking for evidence.

1- as someone pointed out, they aren't using dogs

2- they seem to be sticking to ditches and areas close to the road, like something was tossed from a vehicle

3- in a video, they're not being particularly cautious while swinging the poles they're using to move grass. i would think they would be a bit more careful if they thought they were looking for the body of a young girl(but someone more familiar with searches may dispute this)
