Clairmont: Whatever it takes to find Tim Bosma
Hamilton police are working around the clock to find Tim Bosma
Det. Sgt. Matt Kavanagh
John Rennison,The Hamilton Spectator
Det. Sgt. Matt Kavanagh is leading the investigation into Tim Bosma's disappearance.
This is Hamilton Police at its best.
Homicide investigators working around the clock. Search and rescue teams on the ground and in the air. Canine and mounted units deployed. Divisional detectives first on the case. Marine unit on the lookout. Commanders approving resources. Forensics officers at the scenes. Uniformed officers getting called in from across the city. Media officers keeping the public informed. Victim services caring for the family.
The search for Tim Bosma and the pursuit of the men who took him is the biggest Hamilton Police operation in recent memory. At least 150 police officers – mostly from Hamilton – are involved. It is an extraordinary show of the array of expertise and training that exists within the service and the dedication of officers and civilians – some of whom have worked nearly non-stop since the 32-year-old Ancaster husband and father disappeared Monday night.
