When I was around 16 years old, I was lured by a photographer claiming to want to help me with my modeling portfolio.
He asked to take nude pictures, I said my parents wouldn't be okay with that, but I was eager to start modeling, so when he said he'd talk to my parents and I could just do a bathing suit that wasnt revealing to appease them, I agreed.
Went on two photoshoots where he came to my house and talked to my parents and picked me up. First was all clothed, likely trying to establish trust. Second was bathing suit and he did multiple things that were uncomfortable throughout but was careful not to spook me.
Flash forward a month or so, he set me up with two more photographers. One had a practical mansion and told me he's pay me 500 dollars to make a *advertiser censored* video, the other offered 245 for light bondage pictures. I was young and dumb. I did these things. The guy with the mansion, whose name I do not know, and I couldn't remember where his house was, has never been mentioned in local news. He didn't particularly hurt me passed exploitation, and it didn't bother me in the moment..
The second one I was set up with to do bondage had a storage unit photography studio with so many supplies and a professional set, I was really impressed and thought I was doing something to help my career. my best friend had worked with him and didn't tell me till way after this- she ended up killing herself..
During the bondage shoot I was given a shot with something like a benzo or like substance in it, I remember only bits and pieces- I will post more about this later.
Flash forward a few more months maybe, and I got in a fight with my parents and told them everything. They went through my messages and found some things, but I was good at covering up other.. I still was honest with the police when they immediately took me to the station to give them all my profiles and statement. I was interviewed twice, DNA collected, zasked to help locate the storage unit.
David Maney II, first photographer, was aarrested on 12 counts of exploitation of a minor and the reast of them I have heard nothing about. Maney was released recently and still has a photography business.
100's of girls in my small town were affected by this. we want justice. we want to heal.
