Hes in jail. Glad to hear it. I hope he remains on LE radar. Let them lock him up every chance they get.
 
There is a lot of chatter going on they 'caught' the killer. This may be a smoke screen.

So can we extrapolate that they "have their man" in Akeem and his compatriots? A "smokescreen" like this has the Feds written all over it.
 
The mother of the child was never entered into NAMUS. The childs gender was listed as unknown. LE kept this info close to their vest. They might have waited for a hit on the babys DNA from the criminal database. Maybe its Akeem. Maybe hes the father. LE did say the baby was non-caucasian. Just a guess. Megans mom said her daughter was afraid of the dark. She would not have gone out unless her daughter had contact with this person in the past. Sounds like she knew what she was talking about. I guess it was easy to assume a large amount of money lured her out of the hotel.
 
Akeem lied to Megans mother. He said Megan called him to say she was going to the store and would call him back when she returned. The phone records say otherwise. Megan did not call him. He called her. A short time later she was seen leaving on the hotel camera. Why would he lie about a simple little detail like that?
 
One of our former Webbies identified a guy who was in the adult entertainment industry. He was a convicted drug dealer. He did time and when he came out he jumped into the movie and pimp industry. He buys a house on Oak Beach. 4 years after buying that house he sells it to a Bellone insider for almost 4x more than he paid for it. Bellone's pal gets a mortgage for almost twice the value of that home. This all happens in the middle of the fake mortgage crisis. This doesn't seem to register with the authorities.

Those snakes hiding in the grass have no problem creating rumors that James Bisset is LISK, but never mention this particular guy they know to be criminal that also died around the time SG was found. Maybe it gets too close to home.

I think of Akeem as a bit young for LISK. Wasn't he in his very early twenties when MW was murdered? What would be his motive? It doesn't make sense to me.

Also it seems like the authorities would have been able to connect Akeem to the other victims way before now if this were so.
 
I dunno it sounds weird to me too; I was just curious if Hawk meant what I thought he meant. It could be a lot of things. Anything in the Brooklyn network always piques my interest though and I hope they put him through the ringer.

That is what I read in some kind of report. What is even more curious he is convicted of drug crimes in Suffolk County and gets placed in a federal prison. One has to wonder why that would happen. It seems as though the FEDS wanted him very close. It was also the same time the NYS SIC investigation into corruption in Suffolk County first started.

After the guy gets out in prison he will come back to Oak Beach and buy a house for $225K and four years later he sells it to a Bellone pal and fundraiser for $825K when posted real estate records put the value at only $425K To this very day the house is valued at less than 600K and somehow and for some reason this guy gets at least one mortgage for $700K.

The drug dealer is a crook, and later a pornographer. That much is a certifiable truth. A top politico buys a house from him in what I would call very suspicious circumstances. Is the drug dealer a willing conspirator with the politicians to provide money for a future Bellone campaign? Did the new owner really pay out $825 K for a house that was only listed in various real estate sites as being worth only 425K. Did the drug dealer get nearer to the 225K that he paid for it and the rest of the 700K from the mortgage salted away?

Another interesting twist to this story is Bellone and his friend graduated from college in or about 1991. They both enlisted in the military, and did so without a commission, just two ordinary grunts. The story/rumor is that both Bellone and his friend were arrested for a credit card scam on a Macy's in Massapequa Mall. The judge gave them a choice: Join the army or go to jail. BUT THAT is just a rumor. Maybe someone should ask both of them if there is any truth to that rumor.

I was just coming to post this story from Daily Mail. She appears very petite and actually reminds me of Melissa. Someone commented that there were two women found dismembered recently in the same area. More pics of her at link. Very attractive young woman.

Also, the writer says the john paid her in fake bills and it made me think of Maureen being robbed. She tried to call him back and couldn't get thru because it was a burn phone. I'm glad she was brave enough to report it to police although the police don't seem too concerned in finding out who's murdering prostitutes in NY/LI. Her story is compelling nonetheless. Good find!
