Casey bought the tickets to PR?

I really do wonder what she was doing with the money though - it looks like she was desperate to attain it - stole from her own gparents, her mother, her friends - in some cases hundreds and in some cases thousands - she had no car - she had no rent - she is said to have not been a drug addict - so where did it all go?

easy. monthly cell phone bill, $100-200. weekly groceries, $50-100. although she did like to go out, so let's add in $50/each time for dinner. Dinner + drinks + club entrance fee weekly = $150 maybe? plus new clothes, $200 a month at least. maybe she bought herself a Coach purse, that's $300. toiletries and makeup, $50-100 a month at least. plus gifts for her boyfriends, new clothes for Caylee, DIAPERS. gas money. trust me, I blew through a lot of money on credit cards for I don't even know what now when I was in college. it adds up fast. now I am paying for it, and then some, and I have not used credit cards in 5 years. Credit cards are the devil. most kids will bring one out, throw it down at a bar, start a tab, put everything on it, and people will either give them cash or cover them the next time theyre out. I used to do this all the time.

Ok I don;t have a timeline with me. However could it have been possible that Casey sent Caylee with Ricardo or Amy to PR when they went? Did Caylee accompany Casey to the airport? I find it very strange that Casey was buying these people tickets to PR, if she herself could not go due to her not having enough money to do so. Esp if she bought Amy a ticket to PR but then turned around and stole money from Amy. Did I understand it that Casey DID buy herslef a ticket to go to PR the same time that Ricardo and Amy were there? I have to wonder if Ricardo, Amy and Casey were not somehow in to a plan where they would help Casey move to PR to get away from her parents, and sent Caylee ahead with SOMEONE.

I think they need to start searching for Caylee in PR. That is IF she is still alive, which sadly I don;t think she is.

In the beginning of this case I always thought so too, that Casey might have had her friends hide Caylee in Puerto Rico with someone they know there for some reason, or maybe that the child's paternal relatives were there and she was having them take her to them, something along those lines. I wondered if she had some reason she wanted to keep the child away from her parents, whether that was because she thought they were going to try to get custody, or some other personal reason, for example, if her father had abused her and she didn't want it to start happening to Caylee (and I'm not making an accusation there, I don't have any evidence at all that that is the case, nor do I think that is, but just for any personal reason. Could just have been spite, for example.) Or, my other theory early on, maybe other people said this also I don't know, was what if Caylee had had an injury, let's say a broken arm or whatever, whether that was accidental or at the hands of someone Casey wanted to protect, would Casey have friends hide the child until the cast could come off the arm or whatever, until the injury was healed, rather than face her parents with it .

But I always thought the authorities should be looking in Puerto Rico for Caylee, at least early on in the case. I wonder if a 2-year-old could be on a plane without being on the flight transcript or whatever you call it, the list of seat tickets. Because you don't usually have to book a ticket for a 2 year old, do you?

No, you don't. They never asked my son's name or anything when I travelled with him as a toddler. They just noted I had a lap child.

Most airlines you can take a "lap child" no need to purchase seat for 3 and under but you still must provide all the childs info....name, age and you must have appropriate paperwork ie: passport etc.

I think in the video Mark Fuhrman said she had bought them tickets at different times for PR, TX and ?? NC maybe?

Was it PR and NY? Did she buy a ticket for TL to NY? Yeah, why? It's weird.

You have to give the childs name even if it is a lap child--Just went thru this in July for an 8mo old

No passport or anything needed to take child to Puerto Rico since it's a U.S. territory. Just went there last year with my small child, no paperwork involved.

You don't need a passport for PR but paperwork on the child--we showed her birth cert

I also needed Ids for my 17yo-13yo-10yo and 6yo

I traveled with my granddaughter and had to have note from her parents allowing me to take her....and if you already have done this why ask the question?

Usually when you're booking plane tickets it asks how many children and what age and you automatically put in one child, under 2, or whatever, and you don't have to buy a ticket for the child. But do you have to enter the child really? I wonder if it's possible not to. I think you do have to have a separate ticket and boarding slip for the baby at the gate in the baby's name, but I'm not sure, maybe it sometimes is just on the parent's ticket without the baby's name stated? I can't remember. Or does it vary by airline.

I really think it might just depend on whoever is working the desk at the time, unfortunately. The point is...they don't always ask for the information as proven by a few posters here, so it is possible for a child to fly without having been checked for identification.

What? I think you quoted my post accidentally. I didn't ask the question. I answered it.

Just curious, why did you have to show the child's birth certificate going to Puerto Rico. It's not required of U.S. citizens. Unless you went when the law was different or if you are not a U.S. citizen? I don't know, if you are from Puerto Rico is it different than if you're from the 50 states? No papers were required when we went in 2007.

Hello? I asked if a 2 year old (lap sitting child rather than ticketed child) can be on a flight without appearing on the flight transcript. I still don't know the answer to that question.

The other post was me answering someone about travelling to Puerto Rico with a child, no passport or birth certificate or other papers were needed when we went in 2007.

We travel every year for vacations and such and I have to show proof my kids are actually my kids

Being military it's easier on Ids because my kids each have their own id which has to be used at the doctors and for paperwork when he's deployed

I've had to show their ids each time we went to Mass,Disney World and Chicago

All airlines ask for your id when you check in--to make sure you are who you say you are

That was why we chose PR for vacation, we were planning on short notice and had not renewed our passports so that ruled out the other places we were considering, but Puerto Rico was fine because no passport is required or anything since it's a U.S. territory. So we got tickets for PR, had a great time, beautiful place. Of course as adults we had to show our IDs like normal when boarding, no ID has ever been required of our child, no birth certificate or anything, I've never heard of one being required before (unless maybe when you're going overseas? someplace that requires passports etc?).

No even if unticketed they still appear on the manifest--this is incase the plane crashes they need to know how many bodies to look for
