* Manipulative and Conning
They never recognize the rights of others and see their self-serving behaviors as permissible. They appear to be charming, yet are covertly hostile and domineering, seeing their victim as merely an instrument to be used. They may dominate and humiliate their victims. (Cindy in her deposition and Cindy taking down the crosses near Caylee's tree, the way Cindy belittled Casey to her friends and Jesse)
* Grandiose Sense of Self
Feels entitled to certain things as "their right." (Cindy demanding, and I do mean demanding to know the relevance of a question posed to her in a deposition, was absolutely priceless) I thought the young attorney was quite charming and calm, "Brad, perhaps you can explain to her that she may not ask any questions here" and later, still calm, "Brad, c'mon, you are an experienced attorney, you know the rules of procedure here", he was absolutely astonished that Cindy was so very very ill prepared and mislead. Cindy was livid, insulted, and combative. In a courtroom with a judge, that would have not been tolerated. The judge would help her understand her sense of self is misguided. LOL
* Pathological Lying
Has no problem lying coolly and easily and it is almost impossible for them to be truthful on a consistent basis. Can create, and get caught up in, a complex belief about their own powers and abilities. Extremely convincing and even able to pass lie detector tests.
(Yuri mentioned that she never once showed any sign of concern or cried for her "missing" baby. she took them to her imaginary office walking them down the hall "with a purpose".) Regarding Cindy , my favorite is her telling her brother and co-workers that Casey is not pregnant, when she is seven full months and quite evidently pregnant!
*Lack of Remorse, Shame or Guilt
A deep seated rage, which is split off and repressed, is at their core. Does not see others around them as people, but only as targets and opportunities. Instead of friends, they have victims and accomplices who end up as victims. The end always justifies the means and they let nothing stand in their way.
(She admitted in a jail house visit with mom and pop she had not cried once since she had been jailed.) Seasoned homicide detectives could not shame her into a confession, she remained stoic throughout long hours of interrogation that mafia members would have buckled under.
* Shallow Emotions
When they show what seems to be warmth, joy, love and compassion it is more feigned than experienced and serves an ulterior motive. Outraged by insignificant matters, yet remaining unmoved and cold by what would upset a normal person. Since they are not genuine, neither are their promises. Earlier on the day of her arrest for murder, Casey stood near Jose at a press conference in her white shirt and black bra showing through and forced one single tear that she wiped away six or seven times.
* Incapacity for Love (Obviously she did not love Grampa, to steal from his nursing home account. she didn't love Jesse, she didn't love Amy and clearly she did not love her parents or the baby. "All they care about is getting Caylee back!" Casey said to her buddy regarding her parents.)
* Need for Stimulation
Living on the edge. Verbal outbursts and physical punishments are normal. Promiscuity and gambling are common.
* Callousness/Lack of Empathy
Unable to empathize with the pain of their victims, having only contempt for others' feelings of distress and readily taking advantage of them.( When George and Cindy were telling her how hard it has been, that they are getting hate mail , brother has been sick, dad exploded at the media, she shows zero concern and just talks over a weeping Cindy to tell how she has only received supportive letters. The cold way she ignores them in the courtroom is textbook. She enjoys hurting them. She never mentions concern for her baby, is she eating, is she well, is she scared, is she sleeping...no mention of concern for her at all.)
* Poor Behavioral Controls/Impulsive Nature
Rage and abuse, alternating with small expressions of love and approval produce an addictive cycle for abuser and abused, as well as creating hopelessness in the victim. Believe they are all-powerful, all-knowing, entitled to every wish, no sense of personal boundaries, no concern for their impact on others.

Usually has a history of behavioral and academic difficulties, yet "gets by" by conning others. Problems in making and keeping friends; aberrant behaviors such as cruelty to people or animals, stealing, etc. (Casey switched groups of friends like most gals change purses, and she sure switched boys often too)
* Irresponsibility/Unreliability
Not concerned about wrecking others' lives and dreams. Oblivious or indifferent to the devastation they cause. Does not accept blame themselves, but blames others, even for acts they obviously committed. (Amy, Jesse, et al, she showed Lee no concern, whatsoever, for how his life was turned upside down trying to find the baby for her, and she could not care less about her grandparents and how this was affecting their health, she laughed at Cindy for breaking down in tears, "Why is she crying!?" she had the nerve to ask George.
* Promiscuous Sexual Behavior/Infidelity
Promiscuity, child sexual abuse, rape and sexual acting out of all sorts. (all of her photos on her photo sites read more like advertisements for prostitution, like the one that says, "I've got tricks you have never seen, baby", she has lots of *advertiser censored* saved and for a young girl she slept around pretty recklessly. She seemed to enjoy playing the boys off one another trying to make them jealous sexually.
* Lack of Realistic Life Plan/Parasitic Lifestyle (Casey)
Tends to move around a lot or makes all encompassing promises for the future, poor work ethic but exploits others effectively.
* Criminal or Entrepreneurial Versatility
Changes their image as needed to avoid prosecution. Changes life story readily.
We know or believe she had a fake ID, was happy to utter someone else's checks and has indeed been charged with fraud, Casey that is. we know she had a different story for every week about what she does for a living, how much money she has, where she is buying a house, she is practically engaged to Jeff, Tony wants to take her back to NY, Ricardo loves, her, Jesse chases her relentlessly, and my personal favorite is the ever changing story of who is the baby's father, how he died, the trust he set up for the baby, the wife doesn't mind and calls Casey, although his parents do not know and she is too honorable to tarnish his memory in their eyes by divulging this secret about their son to them.
