And not only did it hit national news, NG had it on almost every night for how many months? We know the A clan does not like NG or K Belich. So I guess CA doesn't consider them as helping. Can't understand why CA, can ya :bang:

And I bet CA was getting her clothes laid out on the bed, jewelry packed ready to do her media blitz now that she had become a media star? I laughed so hard at the jail video where KC snipped at CA telling her she had seen her on tv and CA says "which one, I did four and I have only seen one or two of them" . That was a gem.

That was a classic snarky mommy-daughter moment that showed such an undercurrent of jealous competitive one-up-manship I'm sure ran rampant in that house. I love KC's condescending malaprop "cameos" to describe her mom's media appearances, and CA acting all giggly and flushed with that I'm-gonna-be-a-star-aren't-I? expression. I'm sure she thinks they should have an Emmy for Interview Cameos - cuz she would certain be up for an award even if it is Worst Actress. Uh-oh, I'm getting snarky too. Time to zip it, beans.

Never seen that interview before. It sounds like cindy hung up right before the FOX woman said about them not searching at the end. I'm confident that she watched herself later on though. I hope she knows how moronic she sounds.

Look, the detectives tried their darndest to do their job (and still are) and couldn't shake your bat s*#& crazy daughter out of her lies, so as the family it IS your job to question her and find out where Caylee is... not just sit on your butts doing nothing but media tours, walking around the house with your fingers in your ears and your heads in the sand, too "scared" to question your psycho daughter.

She might as well have told the interviewer, "I will *advertiser censored* myself for any interview you want, fly wherever you want me to go, galavant around in your fancy limos... as long as I get to put my own spin on things, and you don't call me and my dysfunctional family out on our wrongdoings, because we're actually a very perfect and normal family. You news stations NEED the awesomeness known as me. "

ITA! CA's attitude about the JG incident was even more misplaced considering that her daughter was close to 20 years old. She shouldn't necessarily approach it the same way as she would a virginal 15 year old in bed with some dude. She called KC some nasty names and got on JG's butt when she was done with KC.
CA reacted as if she were violated (violated.....again- KC's pregnancy was a total violation). She was angry, but not about perceived hanky panky...she was angry that KC was in her home, not really working a full-time gig, not seeking to move out, never went to college, now there's a grand-kid, and some guy on her furniture probably picking out of her fridge, AND SHE WAS OVER IT!
Problem is, as has been posted here, CA did not have the love and guts to tell KC to grow up. She just continued to enable KC and harbor the resentment

As you stated above, they created KC and were too ashamed/lazy/selfish to confront it-Now they have to.

I can't remember which appearances I heard this from, considering how many damn appearances the As have done, but I remember when both GA and CA (on separate shows) were trying to say what Caylees favourite things were, and they listed every disney movie known to man, and cartoons but that's about it. Sounds like she was just plopped in front of the TV to babysit her.

My nephew (who is not too much older than Caylee) was sort of the same in the sense that he was raised by adults and didn't have much interaction with children until he started going to school, with the exception of the weekly park visit.... but I can name a gajillion things he loves to do. Sure, he loves the cartoons but he would much rather be playing outside, drawing with side walk chalk, riding his bike..etc etc... I could go on forever.

Aside from the pool, it didn't sound like anyone hung out with Caylee for fun activities. On the Caylee is missing myspace.. it seemed like they hardly knew what her favorite things were. They had listed less than a handful of things she liked... as if they really didn't know.

You have hit the nail on the head, Reagan! I have been haunted by the home videos of Caylee since I first saw them. She always tries to engage the person holding the camera and 99% of the time there is no verbal interaction. It is just heartbreaking and extremely haunting to me. Then there is the film of her in the highchair and I think it is KC filming - it is just plain creepy & heartbreaking. I hate it when children attempt in many ways to communicate with the parent or caregiver and are ignored. This is very stifling for their social development to name just one.

When Cindy says to Megyn, "I'm going to let LE do their job" ...well, I think Yuri and Sgt A (and the others who have been unlucky enough to have contact with her) might have some disagreement with that statement. She has tried everything humanly possible to do their jobs for them, remember the phone call message to Sgt. A that lasted forever and a day ? She basically threatens him by saying, if they don't do it her way she will "have to go to the media" and tell them how inept OCSO has been in the case. And then I keep hearing this statement, made by her numerous times to the media, "if you'll quit speculating and only report things that are released by the Sheriffs Office and US (mainly me) then we might find Caylee". UGH !

Over and over I've heard her answer this way to LKL, FBI, LE, etc. BUT, in her FBI and LE interviews she goes off on this tangent of TOTAL SPECULATION in regards to JG has Caylee, or AH/RM could really be the babysitter and the roommate. It just really gets my goat. I want someone to confront her about this. Why is it CA that you are willing to speculate to incriminate KC's innocent friends but you refuse to "speculate" (or for that matter see the truth) when it comes to KC. JMO

Ok...random thought I had today, but it does go toward the psych profile...and clearly tells me something is very much amiss with CA's psyche, for lack of a better word...but so telling all the same...who snatches $200 from a wallet while LE is in your house investigating the "kidnapping" of your granddaughter? I mean, the walls are crashing down around you, and you have money on your mind? Where's the panic, the grief, the torment? Clearly, at least to me at this point, they knew something. It seems that their behavior at that moment in time...and the days thereafter...they had reconciled "something" in their minds. I know grief can make you do and say some crazy things...but when there is a baby involved? It's mind-numbing!! And she gets sticky fingers?

I already feel sorry for the jury and they haven't even been picked yet ! Can you imagine having to sit through Cindy's testimony and then not be able to "talk" to anyone about it afterwards ? Oh my, how is the prosecutor going to handle her ?

I believe ZFG was her alter ego.. the woman 'with crystal eyes and and the heart of coal' or however that went.. I believe it was indeed Zanny who 'put Caylee to sleep'
Not that she didn't know Zanny was just herself, but that she was playing her fantasy game, like a kid playing Batman or Spiderman or whatever it is kids pretend to be lately.


There was Jeff, a kid she barely knew in high school, but whom she claimed was a co-worker, and who had a son ZFG also babysat ,was probably a very close friend in her fanatasy life..
Then there were other co-workers mentioned, a boss.. can't remember their names but shall go search for them, if I can remember where I heard about them.

I think, in her imagination she strode off to work most days, left little Caylee with Zanny, and went to her desk or out on assignment.. I imagine her time promoting Fusion played into her role as an important 'job assignment'.. she was so busy it seemed best to leave little Caylee with the nanny full time as she worked on that..

Maybe I am way wrong on all this, but I want to try to see things from that angle, any help with names or where to find references to those imaginary co-workers etc would be appreciated. I have so much stuff bookmarked, I can no longer find anything.

It showed right away what CA is all about. The cops are checking everything out and she shoves her way in there to grab up all the cash she can find. And been doing it ever since.

I'm sorry but I disagree. I don't believe she's either insane or delusional. She's a sociopath through and through. They don't have heart. No affection for anyone. Not even for themselves. Their game is winning. KC's game was about winning one over on her equally narcisistic/sociopathic mother. Nothing more, nothing less. Awful...I am waiting very patiently for them both to tgo to the places where they each belong.

Because your kid comes in and announces they are a firefighter, you don't rush them off to therapy... they know they are playing, and so do you, but people with a complex fantasy life, live out their life through those mind games..call your kid in for supper and they may say "time for the firemen to go eat their lunches, but stay alert for any alarms fellows!"

They weave reality into their fantasy to suit them.

I see what you're saying snow, but IMO, "Zanny" was her alter ego in a cold calculating way, part of a plot to divest herself of Caylee. I don't think she lives in a fantasy world, just a world where she better get what she desires at all costs. I don't think KC needed fantasy to live her life, she just needed to bend people to her will, hence the elaborate lies.

I agree with you, and it appears that is how she lived her life. Only Cindy could see through her lies, and in the aftermath, Cindy is now reinforcing them out of desperation.

We could see KC's frustration in the jail video. She couldn't manipulate the cops, nothing was working this time. KC now realizes that the world consists of more than her desires, and her manipulations are worth nothing in this circumstance. Utter rage.

are you saying KC did NOT have a fantasy life?? I would find that rather odd in light of all that she said about just such a life.. a nanny .. a boss that sent her emails.. co-workers who had names and stories to go with them..

Her ability to tell stories about all of these people, and to keep those stories straight, says to me that she had thought up this whole story line over a long period of time, it wasn't just something she came up with for LE after the 'kidnapping'..

I think I will give up trying though, and go reconstruct her fantasy life on my own as best I can.. think it should be rather interesting and quite enlightening in many ways.
