The Kiomarie adoption thing really surprised me as well. It's as if Caylee was a new cute top to be traded between friends with very little regard for what might happen when a 19 year old adopts from another. Though it never might have happened, even the idea of it seems flippant and reeks of that idea that some girls get a baby as a status thing.
The status angle had never occurred to me in this case, thanks for your impression. If Kiomarie does see Caylee this way I'm pretty sure she was alone in her beliefs; which actually does make the rest of my feelings about her more relevant.
I see a 22 y o who isn't such great friends with a former bff, has been hearing some less then flattering things about the person, maybe was even a little jealous of her former friend and see's an opening for some attention for herself. I'm sure she had no idea at the time where this was going to end up.
I just hate to see it getting anymore attention if it isn't true and since she's the only person to ever have said this, and others who are believable have said the opposite is true; I find it rather hard to believe.
Not too many 19 yo's are told they'll never have kids, in this age of designer babies and designer pregnancies. I'd be doubtful of any MD that said that about one of my dd's. It seems as long as there is a uterus there is a way to put a baby in it. I know pregnancy doesn't happen for everyone, it's just more achievable now than 20 or 30 years ago for women with some pretty incredible medical situations.
