Probation will be the first time in KC's life that she has had rules and boundaries. It really is her only hope of learning anything. Not that I think she'll change though.
By her atttorney's rallying around to prevent her from ever facing consequences for her behavior, they have become her enablers like her parents who perpetuated the problem in the first place.

Probably not. I suspect that if KC in fact owed the IRS, the debt has been settled. If it hasn't, they will find her and they will make her life miserable. The IRS doesn't want to put people in prison but they can get really nasty; they just want their money. And they don't like being ignored.

If you are real bad with the IRS, you can go to Fed. prison for tax evasion.
Al Capone did and so did Leona Helmsley :floorlaugh:

How sweet it is!
Maybe the good citizens of Orlando will form a welcome committee when she shows up to the probation office ?:great:

Maybe her parents will show up too? ..Nah, they won't show up. The camera's might catch them. It seems the A's motives as of late are aimed at trying to win over the public as was witnessed by their appearence at the b-day walk for Caylee.

They tried everything they could do to keep the killer from paying for what she did. Now they are seeking acceptance from the community on the grounds that they are grieving Grandparents again. Don't get me wrong, I don't doubt that they grieve for Caylee, I just think that putting on a good appearence is what is important to them now. They can't bring Caylee back but they can try to improve their image.

After this display and many other's, I can still see them taking FCA back into their home for no other reason then it would allow them to stay relative and would keep that book deal afloat.

In the end, I am kinda proud of my fellow American's. It was said that FCA was going to make lot's of $ and go on to enjoy life at the expense of her baby. It looks like that isn't going to happen. We aren't going to buy what she is selling and the judicial system isn't going to allow her to pretend that she did probation in jail like she pretended to have a Nanny and a job.

Take care, Robin

After FCA's verdict? I am worried. :(

You just lay your worries down right here .

We can't promise you a guilty verdict , but we can be by your side throughout the trial . At WS there's always someone here .If there's one thing we know how to do ,it's to fight against an injustice.

And guess who's not getting much sleep right now, knowing his murder trial is so much closer than he thought ? He's the one who should be worried tonight.

Wasn't Leona Helmsley also #1 on America's most hated ? It's been awhile ,but I'm pretty sure ......................

I still haven't figured out why the grandparents of a missing child had an attorney within the first month of Caylee being gone......Of all of the cases of missing chidren, how often does this happen.....Attorney...refusal to take a lie detector test.....bizarre......

When did they first start getting money offers for pics licensing etc. Wonder if that coincided with getting an attorney. As to lie detectors, many folks refuse them. They can not be trusted as a reliable test.

The Queen of Mean. She was not too bad, left millions to her little pooch and very little if any to her greedy grandchildren.

Since Casey lives by the motto "what's yours is mine" I don't think she could even get a job in janitorial /housekeeping.To many opportunities to steal.
I know I wouldn't want her in my house or hotel room !

Janitorial..she needs to be working with one of those firms that clean up crime scenes...for every one of those 365 days!

Oh yes, the IRS absolutely can put you in prison if you don't pay, especially if they know you have the money.

Helmsley pizzed them off by ignoring their letters. She thought she was above all rules, including those of the IRS. The IRS reacts in a very specific way when they suspect someone is thumbing their nose at them.

Capone was a menace to society, but a slick one. Best way to bring a criminal down when nothing else sticks is to have the IRS look into things.

JB gets away with a lot because he knows he can but he has to know he can't fight the IRS. Even when a taxpayer is in the right it can be one heck of a battle proving it. This is why I believe KC's debt may have been paid. But, I hope it has not been paid, and that the IRS comes knockin' on JB's door, and that he tries to pull shenanigans with them. The IRS is not gonna care how slick his client is; if she owes the IRS she will pay or they will take her down.

You are too funny Aedrys - but when I actually think of it - great idea! Apparently there are at least 12 people there who don't thinks she's guilty! That's probably 12 higher than the number in Orange County!

Orange County residents are not exempt from my contempt. Marriage proposals? Finger flipping in court? Please. I am from Pinellas County. And when I say I am from there I mean it. Elementary school-High School.

I am ashamed that the folks that I share tax dollars with made such a terrible mistake; and I am darned sure that more than 12 people in Orange County think she should have got away with it too.

Either way, there isn't anything funny about it.

I can't put my finger on why but the scariest comment to me was actually when FCA was coming back into court for the sentencing of her lying charges when Sindy said “Oh my gosh, there she is, she looks so beautiful.”

Could be it reminds me of a horror movie where the parents know what their child did and the child comes home and the parents are excited........just to be killed.....tried looking up horror movies to see if any jogged my memory but alas.....no...so maybe it would be a good plot for a horror movie........

Which is the one song that comes to your mind when you think of Casey?

I hope a huge huge crowd is present when/if FCA shows up for a probation hearing - and the crowd is silent and all at the same time turn their backs on her and whomever is with her. They can then all join hands and sing "she was your sunshine, your only sunshine, and then you took that sunshine away". That is my preferred form of protest.

It's funny that you ask that Jakpot, because just yesterday, I was listening to a song on the radio that made me think of the Felon. The song is "Behind Blue Eyes", by The Who. Parts of the song really do relate to her, IMO. Here are a few lines of the song...

"Behind Blue Eyes"

No one knows what it's like to be the bad man
To be the sad man behind blue eyes
No one knows what it's like
To be hated, to be fated to telling only lies

But my dreams, they aren't as empty
As my conscience seems to be

The rest of the lyrics, to the song are here...

Here's a link to the song, a good listen...

My apologies if this has already been posted, I have not read through the entire thread.

<snipped>Mark Lippman stated, “I believe (and it is anticipate) that Casey Anthony will not serve her probation in Orlando and most likely will not serve her probation in the State of Florida. It is a common practice to have a Defendant that resides out of state register for probation in the state and county where the probation was ordered, and then immediately transfer the probation to a state that can accommodate the probation.

“Another possibility is that Casey Anthony will be given a type of administrative probation where she will either have the ability to call her probation officer or write the Office of Probation identifying her status for the month. This possibility allows Defendants to be put on probation anywhere in the world.”

Mark Lippman made the statements on behalf of his clients George and Cindy Anthony. Lippman has voiced concerns that citizens will mistakenly believe Casey Anthony is living in Orlando with her parents drawing undue attention to the Anthony’s who continue to mourn the loss of their granddaughter.

Is it just me or does anyone else find Mark Lippman as shady as any one of the Anthony's?

I can just imagine Cindy's call to Lippman.

Cindy - "Listen Lip-jerk! I do not want to hear no crap from you about taking Casey back will help my public image! I am perfect right now!!! The last thing I need is Casey coming back here to cut into my $$$ profits and glory!!!!!! All I want from you is to hear the 10 million dollar book deal is done!!! Not that the #1 on the best known daughters list of America is coming back! You promised me Casey would be in jail forever!!! And I would get $$$$$rich from it. What the heck happened genius??? Now go send out a PR piece of BS. And make sure you work into it that people should and must send us money!!!!!!!!! I am a grieving grand-mother you know. Not a mother!!!"

Lippman - "Cindy, I would quit, except you have so much bad **** on me now!!!" CLICK:truce:

Which is the one song that comes to your mind when you think of Casey?

That's an easy one! - Liar Liar by the Castaways:

"Liar, liar, pants on fire
Your nose is longer than a telephone wire

Ask me, baby, why I'm sad
You've been out all night, know you've been bad
Don't tell me different, know it's a lie
Come kill me, honey, see how I cry"

I heard one of the TH's say on HLN today that ICA is refusing to come back to Orlando for her Probation because it's just too dangerous for her! We can only hope and pray she ditches her probabtion hearing then she'll end up back in the slammer! What a selfish B! It was too dangerous for Caylee to be living in the A's home, that's what was too dangerous. They are trying to hype up the fact she is in so much danger. I don't think so myself! Maybe a lot of protestors screaming "baby Killer" but she deserves that! I'm actually hoping not a soul shows up so they can't say people are trying to harm her. She hasn't changed a bit, still her self centered cocky self!!

If people show up I'd rather see them with one piece of duct tape over their mouth not saying a word. I remember seeing a guy doing that --- powerful image. I believe he put a heart sticker on it too. Caylee had three pieces of duct tape on her little face. If everyone did that it would take the attention off of FCA and back on Caylee.
