So who will be paying for her security guards, food, housing-etc if she has to go back to Florida ? How could she even walk into a building in order to report to a probation officer without an angry mob being there ?

Well we know for sure it won't be anyone from the OCSD because they have already issued a statement saying their responsibility to her ended when she stepped off of the jail property.

Any other regular "normal" person without money would have to find low income housing and learn to deal with it all. Isn't it just plain outright wrong when "unspecial and no better than anyone else" people get treated better than other people in the same situation? What about the person doing probation in Florida with no family anywhere and working at some fast food restaurant, riding the bus to work and riding the bus to the probation office every month? FCA and DT fighting the probation and waa waaing about safety issues is just adding a whole new group of people to the angry list.

I don't know enough about the law to even guess what will happen, but I do know that in his entire career HHJP has had only one minor ruling overturned .:innocent:

Yep, and I am sure , he wants to keep it that way. His order must have strong merits.

According to our lawyers on WS, probation is an sentence.

But that was acknowledged in HHJP decision - and has been referred in law as a Schriver's error (I think). Plus there is precedent that the oral decision takes precedent over the written decision.

Everyone acknowledge's the difference between the oral and the clerical decision was a simple error - that was corrected. It was HHJS's correction that started this whole probation stuff rolling.

It seems to me the argument they are now using is this is a malicious order by a recused judge and was issued from spite...and to me a darned silly argument to even begin. That he has been on "multiple" media shows saying he was shocked by the verdict - well heck - even the defense team was shocked by the verdict, but apparently Strickland was showing bias.

Its a round and round nonsense appeal...IMO

HHJP would have never backed up Judge Strickland order if there was even a hint of sour grapes and no standing IMO. HHJP likes to maintain his record of only one successful appeal.
Guess that makes Judge Perry also biased/malicious according to the defense .I think not. It was Judge Perry that turned their probation motion down, not Judge Strickland and made the defense go cry to an appellate court.

When she was let out of jail, which was highly publicized, there were not many folks outside and I hardly would call them an "Angry Mob".
It is the DT that wants to keep that "angry mob' thingy alive.

You are right! And according to the news people allowed inside, there were other options in place for her exit. But JB opted for out the front door IMO so there would videos and photos of her coming out and being met by a "group" of protesters yelling at her. He and she are so predictable

Why should anyone other than KC pay for her life necessities? It's no one's responsibility but her own. No one is going to announce the time and date of her probation meetings. The public and media will lose interest pretty quick once pictures of her are all over the media. Personally I don't care if a few people yell at her. If she wants body guards she can get a job and pay for them.

..it's possible for her to report, and the 'angry mob' wouldn't even know about it.

..she COULD go in very low-key, ( judgeP's order said aug.26th or--any day before then ) a quick in and out to a probation office outside of orlando.

..or---( after "leaking it to the media" )---baez and the entire entourage could escort her in, in smack downtown orlando--- make a huge deal about it-------and then complain about it afterwards.

1 year probation? 1-800-wahwah. Who cares. Big flipping deal. I am so over where she is and what she is doing I could spew. I'ts done, it's over. A murderer got off. Sickening but we can do nothing about it. I have no idea how I can make a difference. I am between apathy and a hard rock.

I can not figure that out either. You would think that Cheney with many years of experience certainly would know the rules.

Either they wanted the media buzz (that's what I believe), or they were overly anxious.

I have a feeling Mason has been taking care of all these motions because Baez has decided it is best for him to lie low, he has made many enemies in the Orange County Courthouse and if he is lucky enough to keep his licence to practice law then he must hope these judges and pros will have forgotten what a disgrace he is in the courtroom.

Mason is well on his way to retirement and could care less about making enemies at this point, Baez on the other hand has a way to go and does not want his name attached to any of these motions that Cheney is putting out blasting the judges and Attorney General.

Baez did his dirt and now it seems he wants to separate himself from any further bashing of the OC judges hoping to clean himself up.

I had read...and don't know where exactly...that it was LE's decision to go out the front...that Baez wanted to leave from the back (believe this was according to LE).
