weigh in websleuthers! Why would LE release jailhouse phone calls and video?

I have my opinion.... it is to smoke the story out of anyone who is hesitant friends~wise or other, of Casey. I think perhaps they may have some forensics back and are working the reverse psychology angle on the family and friends of Casey. I sure hope it works!

I think because it's public records, and they have to because the media requested it. The only reason they aren't usually released is because no one requests them.

They don't really have a choice, I think. I think it's part of the Freedom of Information Act. They can only delay the release, if I recall...

but I'm no lawyer. I just play one on tv haha

I am starting to wonder if this so called baby-sitter wasn’t a possible drug dealer. It has been reported that Casey used her mother’s credit cards possibly to the tune of $45K. I find it interesting that we have heard NOTHING as to where that credit card was used and on it. Could it be possible that Casey owed some not so “nice” people a lot of money and she was using mom’s card to possibly payoff that debit and maybe even Caylee???

thats what I was thinking.
Possibly she was selling drug for someone or was even doing prostitution?
And some how she may have owed people money. And they got upset and held Caylee for the money?
Also, Mike Walker "king merc" and his friends carry guns with them for some reason. One of his main myspace friends runs a dating service.

I don't know at this point. I started flipping channels around 9am and never heard a word about it.
4 hours later, nothing.

Why would they announce and then not do this?

Hmmmm, maybe the FBI is busy cracking her right now?

The media released all the phone calls between Hulk Hogan and his son who is jailed in Florida and then the media just spread it across the airways.

according to the above link, neighbors at Tony's apartment complex saw Caylee in the pool in early june playing. I have one question for Tony.....didn't you wonder where Caylee was if Casey was "working from home" in your bachelor pad?

but to his credit, he hadn't known Casey that long...only about a month. She could have told him ANYTHING. That she went out of town on a month long trip with the nanny, that her mom wanted to watch her, etc. There is NO telling what Casey told him...

I think Tony is innocent, he cooperated, and rallied friends to give their statements, too. I also quite like Lee. I think he is well spoken and does the best he can with the questions he receives from the press.

Where is GM and GF today? At the Publix? On Fox this morning while the reporter was live you could see GM being interviewed in the driveway in the background. Where is that interview and what did she say? Couldn't see the call letters or channel number of the reporters.

For those of you in Orlando - especially in the vicinity - are they (anyone - LE or just organized groups) looking for Caylee? Any helipcopters - anything? I saw yesterday that people were posting there are no current searches going on? I find that odd. IMO if they think Caylee is deceased - then they need to find the body - if they think she is alive - well she has to be somewhere.

Cindy said the reason that Lee left out the back door of the video meeting with Casey today, was because a news crew was following him there and he was scared.

I actually keep my outdoor shed locked because of the $ amount of tools...ie...lawnmower, etc. Just as an added deterrent to any unwanted stranger in my backyard who is looking for freebies. I didn't take it as they had locked Casey out so much as they had locked strangers out.

Actually, Cindy said they did lock it because of Casey and Lee. She said that "things" would get left out and they were afraid of Caylee getting hurt on them. (Goes towards Casey being unreliable and not responsible to keep her child safe, imo.) This is at the same time she also made the comment of how they always took the ladder out of the pool.

I wish I could recall which of our astute members here mentioned it...but in the video of their backyard while digging...the ladder was IN the pool. So I guess it means they weren't too worried about it after all. Or is it an indication that Casey was in the pool and it didn't matter anymore if it was left inside or not...since Caylee was no longer in threat of drowning? Who was in the pool last?! It is a question I hope LE is asking, too.

patrick took down all of the pictures of himself. im sorry if this has been mentioned, but i find it very interesting. if he was just some supporter, why do that? who would care? what is patrick hiding.....

Or maybe his Mom did what I would do to my own son who is 23 if he had visited Casey in jail...that is to call him up and say, "What in the heck are you thinking/doing!!???" "You had better not be talking to her...and get those pics/info off the web before all the reporters/police come knocking on your and my door for info."

okay, so I finally read the myspace/facebook comments. WOW! is all I can say in regards to Casey....and to you guys...my oh my have you done your homework! I truly hope the investigators have access to this info or have found it. Has anyone called the tip line before in regards to what all you have found?

my caylee is missing
She came into my life unexspectedly, just as she has left me. This precious little angel from above gave me strength and unconditional love. Now she is gone and I don't know why. All I am guilty of is loving her and providing her a safe home. Jealousy has taken her away. Jealousy from the one person that should be thankfull for all of the love and support given to her. A mother's love is deep, however there are limits when one is betrayed by the one she loved and trusted the most. A daughter comes to her mother for support when she is pregnant, the mother says without hesitation it will be ok. And it was. But then the lies and betrayal began. First it seemed harmless, ah, love is blind. A mother will look for the good in her child and give them a chance to change. This mother gave chance after chance for her daughter to change, but instead more lies more betrayal. What does the mother get for giving her daughter all of these chances? A broken heart. The daughter who stole money, lots of money, leaves without warning and does not let her mother now speak to the baby that her mother raised, fed, clothed, sheltered, paid her medical bills, etc. Instead tells her friends that her mother is controlling her life and she needs her space. No money, no future. Where did she go? Who is now watching out for the little angel?

#1 I think this shows only that Casey was KEEPING Caylee from Cindy...and it comes across that's how she viewed it as well.

#2 It says "Caylee is missing" at the top because on Myspace whatever your name has been changed to is the way it reads when someone views your comments. In other words they changed to that title recently...doesn't mean that was the headline she used when it was written...there is nothing there that says she knows she was missing

Personally, I think Cindy was planning on going for custody of Caylee and little miss priss got ticked off and said "I will show her" and took off with the baby....and Cindy may have been concerned for caylee but never would have imagined she was really missing...I really feel she thought Casey was just playing games with her to just "get her back" and was intentionally keeping her away....THUS tying in the whole 911 phone call where GMA says "I've already given you a month." Sure it could be taken another way...but it seems to make more sense that she felt Casey was keeping her from her for a month and she was fed up.
