Lanie, so sorry about your daughter. My heart aches for you and all those who have lost loved ones due to horrific crimes.

Adding that I just went to the supermarket and People magazine has an article on Caylees disappearance. I didnt read the article but did see a picture of Gma sitting all nice and pretty right by the crib. It seemed like such a staged shot it made me sick to my stomach. I was so distressed I wound up not buying the magazine but will have to tomorrow.

I am wondering how much People Mag paid the Anthony family for their story.
And who is getting that money?????

Silly girl doesn't realize that she could ship all phones and the SIMM card off to Mars, but LE has already supoenoed the phone records, which will give them everything that the SIMM card would.

This is true. But I think Casey may be stalling for time. I heard on the news last night that it takes only 8 weeks for a body to decompose to just skeletal remains with little to no tissue left. I pray to God this isn't the case here, but Casey may be stalling long enough so that if a body is ever found, they won't be able to determine a cause of death.

What are the criteria for activation? (for Ambert Alert)

There are five criteria that have to be met before an Amber alert can be issued: 1) The child must be under 18 years of age. 2) There must be a clear indication of an abduction. 3) The law enforcement agency's investigation must conclude that the child's life is in danger. 4) There must be a detailed description of the child and/or abductor/vehicle to broadcast to the public (a photo of the child should be provided as soon as possible when available). 5) The activation must be recommended by the local law enforcement agency of jurisdiction.

I was confused when listening to her talk about her cell phone. The blackjack, which she had only had a week. That is the one she told her brother had the nanny's phone number in it. Now, that does not make sense. If she had been in contact with her nanny, and ONLY put her number in her NEW phone...............? And of course that is the phone that is missing. She also talked about the memory and the sim card, none of which is even close to the truth!

I am 28 and a single mom, I recently moved in with my parents when they purcahsed their new home. the question about partying is easy, she left her home with her mom. Being in the same place I know how parents hate that you go out and they stay watching your child while they sleep. When I go out I don tleave till my daughter goes to sleep. I feel that her partying does not affect her mother skills, what happened has to do much more than partying. If you read through the myspace comments between Lee and Casey you see that they were a close family, at least the three of them (Lee, Casey and Cindy).

I know of a girl that does the same thing, only it DOES affect her mothering skills.

She goes out after her child is alseep, and comes home at the wee hours of the morning...at that time it's only a few hours before the child wakes up. BUT the mother is so exhausted, she continues to sleep....it's very dangerous for a child to wake up and be left unattended...

These are things small children talk about... they will tell you if they have a dog or some sort of pet they play with. Heck, if this Nanny was overweight, Caylee would just come out and say "she is fat".

I have Grand Children and at two and a half they do not KNOW the word FAT. This might be something an older child would do but come on a baby to three years old does not call people fat at least NOT in my family. That says something about the child's family if someone that young knows about fat and skinny. LOL

the Bond is getting the $ ... UGH! (imo)

:furious:Ok not sure if this has been mensioned cause I haven't had time to read through the past messages.
BUT, that being said I do believe CASEY has told the truth finally. She had said to another inmate that Caylee is with her dad, and she claims daddy died so there we go, just maybe she has finally told us something that is TRUE.
Also what is grandma saying when she says it is finally starting to make since?
Wish I could figure this all out!!!!!

She purchased the blackjack one and a half weeks before her arrest on the west side near the mall. It quit holding a charge so she put the simm card into her other phone.

This part really bothers me. Blackjacks aren't cheap, they were running at about $99 on special. You have 30 days so if the phone wasn't working, she could have brought it back to the store and gotten another one without a problem. Why go back to using an old one? It doesn't make any sense.

They would still be able to identify her with skeletal remains....(dental records)

Good point, though not sure Cindy is with it or honest enough at this point to tell the truth of whether or not the little girl ever mentioned the nanny or not...

I find it SO hard to believe someone could have been in your life, babysitting your child for A YEAR and there is no evidence, no witness, no nothing, no record, no proof of existance AT ALL that can be found??!!

Even if the nanny was an illegal or a drug dealer, if she existed SOMEBODY had to see her, somebody can verify..yes, I saw a woman that fits the description who lived on my floor...or yes, I went with Casey to drop off the child to the nanny's house....but NOTHING.

IF Caylee EVER spoke of or anyone in the state of Florida could confirm the Nanny's existence, we can be sure Cindy would be shouting this from the rooftops. She has NO PROBLEM explaining her rotten pizza theory.... it's not a question that she's holding back.... there's NOTHING for her to report.

All we have is Casey's word. And then a week later, she finally remembers discloses that the nanny is around 26 years old & there's some vague description? Yeah, right.

Does anyone know if a review of the cell phone records will show a log of all calls received by Casey's phone number including the reported "private" number i.e., not the actual phone number called from just support for her receiving a "private" call the day of the 911 calls like she claims? It would be interesting to know if she did get that call, how long was the call, etc. Conversely, will be important to note if she didn't receive any calls that day and thus is not being truthful.

LE said that's not true, because Casey is not being held anywhere near this inmate, and if she had any contact with him, it would have been in passing, when she was being escorted by guards...who, of course, would have also heard this jailhouse confession.

I think that guy just wants to get his name in the news.

There is a whole lot in this case more Rotten than that pizza....

My thoughts!

I have reached a point now that I am just going to wait and see what LE finds out and presents to the DA.

This is such a complicated case especially since the things that were shared with Casey's friends and family were not truthful and all they had to go on is what they saw and what they heard.

Casey reminds me of Scott Peterson in a way when he shared with Amber all the things he did only to find out none of it was true.

Trying to find Caylee, well this will take a miracle, one of which, may never happen. Way too much time has past and how do you track a child unless you can track the mother?

The State of Florida is large with the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Gulf of Mexico on the other, never mind the numerous lakes and rivers, dense forests etc.

Where would one begin without a clue? There are no clues except for the car and at this point LE has the car. Well maybe there is another clue "Caylee is close to home" ... that maybe where she might be found. But then, where is "close to home?"

I hope they release more phone calls and video visits so we can hear what is being shared. Although Lee and Casey maybe corresponding back and forth through the mail, the mail is read before it goes out and when it comes in. So even if they put something in a letter, LE will know about it and act on it.

I would love for this to turn out like it did with Elizabeth Smart, but I just don't feel deep in my heart it will. :(

Trying to catch up but I found this

Family Of Missing Girl's Mom Meets With Investigators For 6 Hours
Daughter 'Not A Murderer,' Says Missing Girl's Grandmother

*snipped*

"She's leading you to a place, but she's not telling you the exact location to which apartment it is because she's afraid if someone walks in that something may happen to Caylee," Cindy Anthony said." (more at link)

Didn't we find someone that lived in the Sawgrass apartments but not where she led them? Someone connected to the case?
