5. The obvious change in Cindy's demeanor

I really believe it that the first days it never crossed Cindy's mind that something ''serious'' happened to Caylee or that Casey might be responsible for it. Grandma wanted to make sure the child was okay, was fed, had a good bed, wanted to see her.

Cindy's whole body and demeanor are so different the first day. Cindy didn't even look really scared or panicked the first day. But by the 3rd day it is more than obvious that grandma collapsed. Forget her words which mean nothing at the moment, look at her body and face.

She has the face of all the relatives in similar situations, when they find out something very serious is going on with the missing child they are looking for.

Also George taking aside the LE from the first moment they visited their home, to tell them to make sure they look closer to his daughter because she is a liar. That shows also how differently Cindy and George handled and accepted the situation with Casey. Cindy the one who thought she could get through her, the one who thought no matter what she will be able to communicate with Casey. George more resigned to the reality that something is wrong with Casey. My honest opinion only of course.

IF she is Bi Polar and all of her behaviors indicates to me that she IS then she is being miss handled and so is the case. I know that illness and it is frustrating, debilitating at times, challenging and hard to work with. (my daughter was finally diagnosed by the time she was 40 - until then it was miss diagnosed) BUT this Mom acts like a Bipolar victim.

She will lie, she will invent information, she will zone out/freeze/Dis-associat. She has no sense for time frame and that time is of the essence. She lives in her own head, where the details of the case are made up to suite her. She thrives from all the attention she is getting and IMHO she should be cut off all communications and attention of any kind that will make her panic and she will then seek out some attention and a good therapist would be able to go in and get some information in exchange of her getting some attention.

IMO, the reason the gas cans became an issue this week is because I don't think the Anthony's mentioned it. I think LE found that report recently and the Anthony's do what they did and explained it away. Now LE is trying to verify that explanation.

The gas cans would be crucial to a case like this. LE would want to completely check out whether the story of how they were stolen and brought back were true. If ends up being the truth, they move on.

I also think the gas cans are crucial. However, with the media all around the Anthony's house, none of them reported LE questioning any specific neighbor in regards to taking those gas cans. No one knows when or even if this neighbor came forward except for GP. You would think that at the pressor yesterday they would say, we have someone who claims to have taken the gas cans. We're verifying that. But they didn't. I think Casey did take those gas cans. And I think she put them back later. I think SHE is the one GP is taking about and that's why LE took the cans to see if Casey's prints are on them.

I don't think it makes sense that POI would sit in the car/house waiting for police to arrive and arrest her for theft.

i dont think casey expected anything about the car theft to stick - the car was returned (thus, it was no longer stolen. plus, she had consent to use the car - even though she used it outside the scope of this consent - which can be considered larceny, but unlikely), she clearly didn't want her mother calling police (and asked her to wait a day), i think she was just waiting around to clear everything up and go back to fusian....

Yes, I agree. They need to know who stole them and how they mysteriously returned to his shed.

One thing that would make sense..one theory is that they WERE in that car and that George removed them before police were called by Cindy.

ALL have good points here. To me this is the most logical.

I agree on how Casey is/was acting...she is one heck of an actress if she was just putting on a brave face. When this is all cleared up I'm sure Hollywood will be beating down her door. In the photos we have heard/read were from the 20th, there isn't an ounce or fret, worry anything in her eyes. Smile huge and beautiful. Put together perfectly..makeup etc.

The only three things I can come up with is
1) she knows where Caylee is and feels she best off there and wants her to stay there.
2) her cheese has done slid off the cracker and she has COMPLETELY disconnected from what has happened. Just too much to mentally handle.
3) she's one of the coldest, most empty folk to walk this green earth

Odd phrasing - "They came back to me."

If the cans were found in the car Casey was driving, the burglary report helps LE pinpoint one of her locations during the time period of 6/22 (6pm) and 6/24 (10am).

Since Casey has a history of stealing gas, I'm not sure how valuable it would be to find her prints on the cans.

yes, i think this succinctly sums up the newfound interest in the gas cans.

i keep thinking about cindy's crazy bamboo answer and the shed - i think the anthonys' were covering up the fact that the gas cans could be tied to casey. they didn't actually think the gas cans were used for any foul play at the time; thus, they didn't want LE making any such connection.

I would think LE has determined that the stain in the trunk is human related and need DNA to match it up! Just my thoughts!

Why would they wait for weeks to get Caylee's DNA when testing has been ongoing with the stain in the trunk and should be out this week? I guess I am not following you because to think they do not already have Caylee's DNA to be testing against at this point would make no sense. If they didn't have it when they got the DNA from the trunk, the next search warrant would have been to obtain it immediately from her hairbrush or other item at that time.

If she did take the cans... can that be used as a failsafe in the event that 33 days passes and she has to be released? Even if George declines to file charges?

Well, if LE didn't have her DNA before they collected all their evidence, the defense couldn't say LE planted it.

Reverend Grund reported that a paternity test was done to prove that his son was not Caylee's father.

Wouldn't that mean that DNA exemplars already exist for Caylee and Casey? Whether they would carry the weight of evidentiary evidence I don't know, but Rev did say they submitted the documentation to LE.

The gas cans -- once believed to have been inside the trunk of Casey Anthony's car (who is the mother of missing Caylee) -- have already been scrutinized heavily by forensic technicians.

Is Grandpa lying? LE obviously doesn't think it was a neighbor. Maybe that's what came out during the meeting yesterday. That George lied about the gas cans and mystery solved. ANd that's why they went over there and grabbed the cans.
