I wonder if LE thinks Caylee was killed in the GP's house after they left? Or even while she was still living there? We aren't even sure when she moved out? She seemed to be around til at least June 15 or 16.

I have it a bit later. Very late at night, in the wee hours of the morning on the 17th/18th. Maybe about 1:30 AM on the 18th?

That's what I was thinking. From my vast experience watching crime shows, I know they cover the windows when they are going to spray luminol in a room to test for blood.

I'd love to think this new CSI visit is related to all the talking they did last night...like perhaps looking for the wedge thing George says he used that had been in Casey's car...or the backpacks he said they left with (assuming one wasn't in the bags from Friday, etc.)

All this talking they did surely has opened up new areas of suspicion of things to look at to possibly also investigate or dispute what the gparents said occured at certain times.

Assuming that Casey filled out that card (big, unproved assumption), did she do it before or after whatever happened to Caylee happened.

If before, would suggest premeditation. If after, what?

This could be explained simply as Casey overhearing someone say they were going to check out an apartment at sawgrass - a ZG - or she heard through third person - the fact that the family has lied and said Casey knew ZG for three years and yet are heard over several phone calls specifically asking for the name of the person and NOT being familiar with the name is very telling. I believe this is a name she heard in the neighborhood.

I know we've seen visitor logs, but where have we seen something that lists Ortiz's girlfriend? I must have missed that along the way... so many posts to keep up with!

I am thinking that also. Especially if that "stain" was blood. They are thinking SOMETHING happened in that house - or that there is physical evidence that needs to be metted out. The black paper is interesting - used to cover windows - to keep the media out? Or to totally black out the room in order to see the luminol?

It's been years since I've looked at an apartment - but IIRC, the apartment complexes check ID when showing a unit, no? Does anyone know for sure?

3 year lurker and first-time poster here... I have been following this case with rapt attention. I have read every post on the Caylee boards. Like the majority of those here, I am troubled by the inconsistencies, the "explanations", and the mom of an almost 3-year-old who has done nothing to assist in facilitating her daughter's whereabouts.

Through a rather circuitous path of friends in the media space, I have learned that one of Casey's friends/"colleagues" is speaking to authorities and may go public today. I am uncertain if this person is male, female, or if it is a past boyfriend, perhaps. I understand material information has been provided by this individual. I have been monitoring the local affiliate Sites and have not seen this information updated....yet. I anxiously await fresh information and insight.

I personally would have covered the house in luminol long before now, but I suppose they have to be proper with these things.

Makes me start thinking that maybe Casey did not do it and maybe Grandma or Grandpa, reason why Casey fled the house maybe. Oh boy.
