me too. Renea was a poster on the jesse thread and she wrote a narrative about speaking with cindy, lee, and jesse.

one of the main things is she has been a member of ws since 8-2 of this year, she has started 3 threads. So why did she decide to tell us lastnight about this????

Well, with the name of softsoul, it helps toughen me up! After lurking for a while, you get to see the who's who in the classroom, and actually the majority are awesome. I went here because in other blogs/forums there were a lot of sharks/rats that would come in and get a rise out of the group. This place seems a lot more moderated, and I praise them for their difficult job!! Like I said last night, I am not in law but medicine and find myself obsessing about this case. I'm neglecting housework!! (gasp!) I think I need a self-help group if they don't crack something soon....:Banane35:
I was a softsoul when I joined here. :) Better reserve your place in that support group...I hear it is filling up fast!!

Save a place for me. I think judging from the amount of viewers on this topic at any given time, there may be 400 plus in your support group. As well as the Mods.

Oh my, I hate to hear that. I have been lurking on this site since the Laci case and found it to be the most sensitive and friendly.

Do not stay in Lurky Town for too long. It CAN be friendly here.:blowkiss:

For every disagreement here there is someone out there that agrees. I do tend to read more than post because usually all my thoughts are already posted so I do not bother. I must admit my husband is a little jealous that I spend so much time here on WS in the evening. This case is one that just needs to be solved.

No, really, I'm doing okay and won't lurk anymore. Last night was the first I could post and it was great. Today got heated so I lurked. Sometimes I actually work so don't post...can you believe it?

My husband is past jealous... LOL

Did anyone ask her today if she worked and if her job required people calling her using
toll free numbers? Just wondering:eek:

Here is a question for all us older parents out there to ponder.

If you were Casey's parents, what would you do if she got dumped back in your home? Let's not consider what Cindy and George would do, for if they had done it before, this horrible situation never would have happened.

I feel sorry for them, and know they are suffering with endless guilt and what-ifs. But, if you were in their shoes now, what would you do?

I would have told the people bonding her out that she was not welcome back in my home until she told me where Caylee was. They want to bond her out..they can keep her would have been my view.

she said she had a atm reciept of the date from the bank just down the road from the gas station she seen the sighting so ppl were asking her to white out her personal info and post it on here as well as her phone records that shows the anthony's number as well since she claims to have spoke to them. But to my knowledge it was never posted.

As maternal as I am, I just have to agree with you. It is Shzt or get off the pot time. Enough is enough. etc etc etc. No welcome back with open arms until LE is given all the info they need to find that precious little girl. It IS very telling that no one in the family has bonded her out.

I dunno about that. I have already seen some snippiness around here and went back into Lurk Town....:chicken:
:offtopic: guys, let me slide just this once, k?:iamashamed0005:

Hi gibby, I've been here about a month. WELCOME!!! Let me tell you something I've learned about this group of people since I've been here. These people are like one big family. They discuss these cases, they disagree, and sometimes they even argue..and then in a few minutes everything is A-OK again. I thought I was getting a bit of the snippy in the beginning as well. Boy was I wrong. I really like these people a lot. We're new, and the 'old timers( no offense, you guys KNOW that)' are just breakin ya in!! They aren't trying to be mean gibby, I promise.
I'm a newbie just like you and if they'da beat me up too bad I'da tucked tail and run because these people really know their around here.
Stick around my friend...I promise you, you're going to love it here. I'm addicted already and not only am I a newbie here, this is my first forum as well. Boy did I pick GOOD!!!

Agreed.

By the same token, if I was an Adult Child that screwed up this badly, I'd be terrified of being with my Mom 24X7. I'd crack in seconds.

My son's grandma died when he was about Caylee's age. He remembered her for at least a year - probably more, asked to see her all the time. It was his first experience with death, which of course he didn't understand. But he missed her. He also associated hospitals with her.

Perhaps, I lack clarity... What I am asking is if anyone might be able to shed light on how long a child of Caylee's age will be able to retain her identity under the control of kidnappers? If indeed she has been kidnapped or left with a friend as the BH has suggested. I would assume circumstances would be different regarding your son and a kidnapping victim. It has been over 2 months, I am sure she would recognize them immediately at this point, but for how much longer, if these people are working at her forgetting?

Sorry for going on about this, but it is just so hard to imagine her being w/o her mommy and gp's, even if Casey is a monster to us. Caylee will want her mommy. Also, I can only hope that if she is with someone they are taking care of her and not causing her further harm, feeling abandoned is damaging enough.

This is most likely moot.

I remember that from last night. It took her a very long time to make any sense, tho. She was being cryptic at first, then started putting it all out there. I was ready to jump in the car and go to Athens. Today I mapquested the directions from my house to Hill st, so her posts did get me thinking. I still may go for a drive and see if I see that truck. I want to go anyway, cuz my Chippewas are playing the Dawgs on the 6th of Sept and I want to show off my CMU alumni sticker around town...lol.

I was just asking if anyone here asked if she worked because of an earlier discussion from today.

OME

Dear Housemouse-

Before I reply, I would like to take this opportunity to say that I thoroughly enjoy and appreciate your astute and considerate work.

If I was them, in their shoes right now, I would emphatically deny Casey shelter and refuge in my home.

many of us here are passionate when it comes to those that are victims, be it a missing child or someone murdered. unfortunately, or fortunately depending on how you look at it, that passion bleeds over into our posts. i believe many times especially someone who is new needs to keep in mind not to take that passion personal. both sides sometimes need to step back and take a breath and remember who really deserves any of the anger we feel on a subject. its certainly not the person on the other side of the monitor but the person who is the cause for us all to be here. no matter what case it is we're involved with whether this one, nancy cooper or the oklahoma girls.

A friend or someone who thought they were adopting isn't on the level. No way they cannot know that Casey is saying Caylee was kidnapped. If that were the case why would they need immunity?
I think if one of Casey's 'friends' absconded with Caylee, it would have been to get her away from that baby's poor excuse for a mother.

If that's the case, the rest of the family could be seen as collateral damage.

But the decomp in the trunk...

Plastered? Are you referring to hanging drywall? I know you aren't referring to alcohol... because Casey's dad said she doesn't drink.

:waitasec::waitasec: You are KIDDING right??? OMG... I have not heard this... Just when I thought they were beginning to see the light they turn back onto "Denial" Road...
:bang::eek::confused:
