Caylee no more drowned in the A's pool than I did. Jose left a hole big enough to float a battleship in, he brought up the issue of the trunk and said all the evidence was 'junk science'. People aren't THAT stupid! Can't wait till he explains the grave wax found on paper towels.... oh, wait, did poor George molest a corpse, too and leave the towels he used to clean up with behind?

Agreed. What would have been the reason not to? Plus, the theory gave no details of that day other than George yelling at KC about not watching Caylee. What about CPR attempts or any of the chaos surrounding an event like that.

I have to wonder where opinions would be regarding this case had NG not had her opinions and show, or the media in general...or more importantly, what would opinions be had there been no sunshine law? do people really think that is not swayed? it is put out there by the state (prosecution)! a lot of people have formed opinions based on how she reacts, how she dresses, how she cries etc..

IMO you are right on. The media coverage with NG leading the charge with her not allowing anyone who has something she doesn't want to hear talk, and the "sunshine law" leaking every word uttered made "opinions" but without hearing BOTH sides. I will wait to hear all witnesses

Well, he had to try something. It was the most benign choice he could make really to try and account for the evidence he claims is junk science....like the choroform.

Thirty one days. That was all I needed to know. No Nancy Grace, no Sunshine Law.

31 days and no call to report her darling 2 year old missing. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it isnt a turkey. JMO.

I think it is possible Caylee drowned in the pool by accident.

I agree the pool, the road, the horse pasture, the parking lots, are the first places you look when a child goes missing.

I do not believe Gerorge abused Casey or was home when Caylee died or help cover up Caylee's death.

I do believe that George would have tried to save Caylee if that had happened. I find it hard to believe his first reaction would have been anger at his daughter, it would have been saving his granddaughter.

I am VERY concerned about where this is going. They didn't explain in the opening statements WHY 911 wasn't called. They didn't say that George didn't call in order to keep Casey out of jail.

They accused him of abusing his daughter.
They accused him of being there when his granddaughter died.
They accused him of covering up her death.

What if the next claim is that he didn't call 911 because he was concerned an autopsy would reveal evidence of abuse on Caylee as well? :sick:


I agree the best thing to do in a neglect case would be to go for a plea deal, not go to trail for murder. IF you could convince prosecutors it was an accident... and IF your lawyer agreed it was best.

If you had a lawyer who wanted his "aha moment" in the Florida sunshine... then you might be convinced that going to trail is the best option.

I missed SO much today. Can anyone tell me if while George was on the stand did he seem to lean towards this theory? He has stated he would do anything to save his daughter but REALLY? Come on...three years? Can someone tell me what George said that may tie him to this?

I think KC was on the computer and not paying attention to Caylee, she got in the pool and drowned.

Very likely. Or, I am thinking, if Cindy & Casey got in that fight, maybe they forgot to put away the pool ladder until it was too late.

OK, so lets say the pool theory IS true. Why no remorse? How can you go about life the very next day as if nothing happened? Renting movies with your boyfriend about serial killers? Hitting up clubs and parties?

In the entire time Casey was supposedly missing there was not one hint of evidence supporting a grieving mother who just lost her child in an "accident".

Right, if I found a small animal dead in the pond in the back, I would be sad enough to say something to someone. If I found a person I didn't know, I would be noticeably upset. Perhaps for a week or more.

Re: Mental Health claims, just because someone has mental health issues doesn't make them non-human. You can have mental health issues and integrity. Black is still black and white is still white. Yes, some decisions might be different or muddled, but I promise you if that girl had a mental illness, the DT would have used that to their advantage. Narcissism or sociopath behavior at best. All my opinion only.

One more thought, hope it's OK to post here, but I think it is irresponsible of the court to allow ICA to be shaking her head back and forth because the jury can see this and might have an impact on their decisions.

Oh, I see this now being discussed on HLN and how wrong it is to allow it.

In my opinion this was 100% purposeful and strategic on her part. Lower level deception, all she can do.

i wanted to yell at tv to george - he is asking you about if caylee can open doors- cabinets ect - and george says yes- we put on those child proof knobs. he, jose, is setting it up that caylee was so good at being a lil adult she could climb pool steps and drown . george was so proud of her turning on vcr he did not see what jose was trying to do - say caylee drowned herself and somehow duct tape ended up on her . guess roy kronk hid the body with plant growth, stuck her in caseys car -omg- if this was sci fi i would throw the book against wall and say you expect this to be a best seller book??

Can anyone fill in step 2 for me? I must have missed this part of JB's outline.

That and you have GA on the witness stand denying the allegations. Both that he was there to witness said drowning and the sexual abuse.

Couple that with the fact that JB in cross of GA didn't question GA about the sexual abuse, and failed at presenting anything that would support his accident theory and GA being witness to it.

JB could have said it was the Chupacabre that did it and cast as much reasonable doubt in my opinion.
