I thought that a search warrent was required to access the cell phone records? Anyone else recall that?

Not if you are the person paying for the service. I would have to assume he has permission from Cindy to get them. (Since I am pretty sure that Casey didn't pay for her phone service!)

YES YES. Ricardo is the only one who is MIA -- not in a physical sense. I have a pretty good idea of all the other players -- but I want to know more about Ricardo!

and (food for thought) perhaps we have not heard hide nor hair of him or Amy in the msm because le is closely monitoring their testimony for grand jury testimony

If the "dead" body was not Caylee, somehow Casey was involved or why would Cindy have rushed to wash the pants in the car. That is very telling. I think she washed them on purpose, I feel both she and George have obstructed justice more than once.

I wonder if washing the pants means anything. These people are just so querky. For instance, after Casey arrives home from prison they order a Dominos pizza. Can you imagine? Oh, she's hungry, didn't realize that after being in jail all this time she might want to eat some real food. Would have been nice if Cindy had made a pot roast, a tuna sandwich, have had deli ordered beforehand, something. BTW...is there anything else to eat in Orlando other than pizza, and only Dominos, to boot?

Someone mentioned also questioning how LP could get the pings. He's not getting phone records, just pings. Remember, he does this for a living. He finds people for a living. I am wondering if there is some kind of third party company out there that has this technology available for LE and such. I know, I know, LP is not part of LE BUT he helps catch criminals and so I am interested to find out if there is truly a company like this.

Ah, well now that is an angle I didn't think about. Hmmm...interesting.

Why would Casey risk prison to lie to the cops?
Was she more concerned about her friends than her daughter?

Yes, but Cindy attempted to get them from what I understand. The cell phone company (in this case AT&T, I believe) would not allow them to be released--not even to the owners of the account. I never really understood the reason for this---
LE said the records were obtained by search warrant which would make getting them for Leonard near impossible...

eh, I don't know, Casey is pretty much a *advertiser censored*. If she were my daughter, I'd probably be going nuts trying to keep her pants clean...I'd hose her down with lysol before letting her back in the house.

If she were my daughter, I can assure you that she would have ALREADY told me where my grand baby was or she would be calling the jail and asking to PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE let her come back. I would not put up with that foolishness for a mintue and if she had clamped down on that girl years ago she most likely would not be going through this today.

Thanks for clarifying. Well, personally I sorta think Bounty Hunter threw these names out because he's sly like that and I think he timed that just the way he wanted to. Also, we all know it's odd none of these people mentioned have been talking to press. I also find it a little odd that all these party kids are so young, but don't seem to be "starving students" or anything if you know what I mean. These kids are all in deep to something, but there's somebody much bigger behind them. Now having said all of that, this case is going to go one of two ways, in my opinion of course, caylee will be produced alive and we won't find out how/where/etc or it will be some spanish speaking woman will show up and it'll all be explained away. or 2 caylee will be produced, either alive or deceased, several people will go to jail and LE will get credit for busting up a drug/crime/prostitution/ID Theft ring and the entire story will again go away. One way or another the biggest "bad people" in this story will all be whispers only, nothing more. All MY OPINION ONLY and I change my opinion often on this case....

I don't see slander in this statement at all:

He isn't talking about THEIR phone records. He is specifically talking about Casey's "ping" records which means he has ordered a triangulation of the period of 4 days for her phone ONLY. He believes (if he can actually order those) that they will tell where she was, who she met with, etc. He is correct, however. It should tell them that information if he can get his hands on it.

I misunderstood..I did not see the show. Someone said he named 5 people and I thought they meant he named 5 people that could have her. I didn't see the quote of what he said until afterward. So in this case I guess not lol.
