If thats true it tightens things up a litte more. If she abandoned the car on the 25th and not the 27th then she abandoned it one day after george discovered the gas cans.....(evidence burning) moving caylee's body on the 24th or 25th

I think I was mistaken on the car dates. I apologize. I can't even find the links for those dates now.

Tony said she called him from there on the 25th to pick her up. I think that if Tony is correct on the date, then we can safely assume she parked it there on the 25th.

ETA:Now I can't find the link that puts that date on it.???

IIRC Tony picked her up on the 27th.......the shopkeeper said the car had been there 3 days (from the 27th) & he had it towed the 30th.

We have talked and talked of timelines, dates, etc. What I would like to know, is if Casey killed Caylee (and I believe she did)....HOW, HOW in the world could she go out and party and act like she didn't have a care in the world?

That is SOOO troubling to me.

Maybe she had the gas in the trunk to try to disguise the bad smell. (sorry I just can't say the d word)

My husbands crew (construction) will occasionally clean their hands with gasoline. I know its bad. But if I walk in the shop after they have been there I can smell it terribly. Maybe she just was hoping it would help mask the smell

1. On the 24th she was "adamant" that she did not want George to open the trunk.
2. George said he'd go get another key.
3. When she opened the trunk, George was near and smelled the decomposition.
4. Casey saw the look on his face or maybe they even talked about it.
5. Casey realized George knew.
6. Casey abandoned the car.

I could buy that if it were Cindy describing the clothes, but he even looked odd when he was describing what they were wearing... didn't come out natural. Its just something most men don't make note of and that is why its one more strange piece of the puzzle.

He is EX Law Enforcement....it would be second nature to him.

Well, none of us will ever understand that. But, I believe the reason she killed her is because Caylee was in the way of her new life with Tony. Therefore, once Caylee was gone, she could now live that new life!

He is X LE , its like second nature to them, but then again so is recognizing the smell of decomposition.

Yes, I think that's why he remembered the details that most of us wouldn't. Back to the decomposition, I think I also might have figured out what's in the trunk of the car from looking at the deathonline link given us a few pages ago and having seen an episode of CSI where there was a bloated body, and it would also fit in with the timeline of disposing of the car.

I had picked up on this as well. Otherwise,for example, the foul odor of presumably, Caylee's decomposing body would have dispersed to mom Casey herself and Tony would have had to have smelled the stench when he picked up Casey. Unless Tony did notice a foul odor and indicated as much to LE, who is withholding this information from the public for now.

I have wondered if she had a bad odor about her when Tony picked her up in the lot of the check cashing place. If she had just gotten out of that car, then more than likely she would have had the decomp smell on her clothing and in her hair.

I wonder if Casey may have put Caylee's body in a place that held a sentimental memory for her. I hope LE have ask her friends...both older and newer friends if they can recall any places that might hold such a place in Casey's heart. The parents and brother also need to be ask about this. I think Caylee will be in such a place.

7. If George did smell decomposition and recognized it, George didn't ask where Caylee was? Hard to believe that.

One question, if Casey came back to the house right after George left for work on the 16th, why didn't she change out of her dressier pin stripe pants and dress shirt and why did she put them back into her car and leave them there? I think whatever happened took place away from the home. Casey may even have changed out of those clothes in the car itself on the way somewhere else.

3. Has anyone considered that his source for the shovel/June 18th date could be the neighbor who loaned the shovel to Casey? That was my first impression when he knew the shovel had been borrowed on the 18th.

That's what I was thinking. He did point out the next door neighbor's house so he probably talked to the neighbor who may have been able to figure out which day it was since the earlier reports of mid to late June.

If George had smelled the decomp and was trying to protect Casey why did he pull one of the det. aside, as per the warrant, and tell him that Casey was not telling everything she knew?

What if the connection with that complex is that her friend lived close by? Am i wrong that the police found out that there was some address nearby that a friend of hers was living? I don't remember who it was? What if the connection is that she was familiarized with the area, knew the area, and also if there were witness accounts of her around the building or the neighbourhood could be easily explained later?


Bingo! That's what I've been thinking lately. As far as the name Zenaida Gonzalez, I believe she pulled that out of thin air. It has nothing to do with her seeing the real ZG's card at the apt, her car or anything else. It's possible she heard that name or a combination of the two names during school, or at a club or somewhere else.
