Caylee may be cremated

If it was my child, I would have them cremated. Once everyone has done their autopsy and extensive testing and documenting, when the body is released it is the family's right to do with what they want. At this point, if the Anthonys do anything, they will be criticized for it by someone, somewhere.

As far as further testing years down the road: Casey will have long gone to trial... if convicted, further testing would only be done to get her off. If she is not convicted, further testing would almost be unusable against Casey because of double jeopardy.

I'm not upset at all. He recently lost his wife to cancer, is down to his last dollars, did the right thing by Caylee at personal expense and stress and will be put through hell by the As, who haven't even thanked him for finding her, but would rather try to turn him into a suspect.

I think it's sad he couldn't get the crimestoppers reward. These rewards are offered for a reason, and if people are constantly publicly attacked for claiming such a reward, they may stop bothering to look for people or to report it to LE if/when they find them. I think we ought to be careful before we criticise those that find missing people like this. I can't help but wonder if a lot of people are jealous that he found her??? I don't get the attacks on this poor guy and thinks he deserves our thanks and the A's thanks.

I would 100% not argue if he sold an interview..but if he sold a still shot of what he found, he is pure scum of the earth IMHO.

I agree. I hope they choose to cremate her and I hope they throw the ashes in the ocean so that her spirit will finally be free.

Proof of that is right on this thread. The A's are being accused of being cheap or of trying to destoy evidence if they have Caylee's remains cremated. They're being acccused of wanting to sell tickets if they bury her. I guess they'll have to find some other option. When does the next space shuttle launch?

I agree..and honestly I don't think either way it is important that we know how its done, but I do think that what will be important is if Casey releases Caylee to her parents. If she doesn't, then peace will never be fully with Caylee. IMHO

IF they have that technology in 10 years what difference would it make? The prosecution is not going to wait 10 years for the trial. If they convict Casey do you think they'll dig up Caylee's body in 10 years simply out of curiosity? Do you really believe that's what the A's are thinking - cremate the body so the prosecution doesn't have even MORE evidence to use against Casey 10 years from now, assuming the technology exists.

Yep. They go back all the time when new technology is available. Look at Jon Benet. Casey is very young and unless LE is saving parts (I think so), then things can be re-investigated for whatever reason.

I just pray that they find peace and comfort in whatever they decide to do. After all CA and GA did love Caylee and she would want them to have comfort at this time. I believe she is seeing the hate being shown to two people she loved. If people were treating your GParents the way some treat hers, I know I would not be able to rest in peace.

Exactly. This guy is worse than JB was at his worse. Talking to the press like 3 times a day, when there is no way he has to do that, and he's making his clients look more and more guilty each time he does, like JB used to do. I wonder if they were friends before this case?

I often think of this. I try really hard to hold off too much judgment because no matter what, Caylee loved them so much. I try to keep my thoughts about them to myself as much as possible thinking WWCT? What would Caylee think?
My hope now is that Casey do the right thing and make sure that her parents are able to lay this child to rest, in whatever manner they choose to.

you guys how caylee is buried or cremated is none of our business ...its up to her family .. we dont like how they have handled things no .. we dont know them either .which makes things more difficult . i think alot is going to come out that we really dont know .. but we shouldnt be arguing about this on here .. caylee is in heaven with god.. theres no more tears pain or sorrow for her .try to look at it that way .and justice will prevail casey and company will not walk .. no way no how .

I do to, and up until today, I have blamed the Anthonys..
Now I know that Baez has the control because Casey give it to him. Baez said (somewhere I think in the news for today) that he is carrying out Casey's wishes.
I can't bring myself to blame anyone right now except for Casey and Baez for Caylee not being laid to rest yet..

No one could profit off of her ever again. She would be free and hopefully it would help everyone move on. And no matter what shore any of us go to we could think of Caylee and watch our babies splash in the waves and know that Caylee's spirit is there splashing them back while thousands of mothers look on never taking their eyes of their babies as they swim in the current. It would be a reminder to all to never take your eyes off of an endangered child.

As I understand it, he basically is selling the iv...but the way these shows work is that they won't pay for the iv's, but will licence pics to go along with the iv. He'd probably prefer it the other way too, but that's how it seems to work. I'm not expecting it to be a gruesome one. You must remember, that even here on WS, many people were blowing up the pics of what they thought was the skull etc. Crime scene pics are already out there, we've seen the book, the bag, now the blanket (in the video) etc. I feel sorry for the guy.

As far as the finality of these last arrangements - we just don't know yet if it has been done. I really don't expect them to make an announcement.
