I'm now feeling the need for one of those countdown clocks...hey, that would be cool if we could drop a disco ball to mark when the hearing starts, LOL. Cause you KNOW there's going to be FIREWORKS tomorrow!

Hahaha! Yes there WILL be.. I can't wait!

Phone call number one she says she wants to bring Casey IN to the police department.

Phone call #2. She says there is a "Possible missing child". She's very calm cool and collected and says her daughter won't tell her where her granddaughter is. If I'm the 911 operator this doesn't constitute an emergency. It appears the daughter knows where the child is she just won't tell her mother. There appears to be no disappearance just a daughter unwilling to tell her mother where the kid is.

Phone call #3 (crying) "I just found out my granddaughter has been missing for 31 days" Then the comment about a damn dead body. This is not to get the police out sooner because she knew during the first two calls that the kid had been "kidnapped". This is a call where she "just found out".

WOW!! Read this Defense Supplement! MuzikMan just posted this, it was filed today:

I can't believe the defense is going this route! The 911 call may have been the only time Cindy spoke the truth and the defense is saying it was a lie?

They are just desperate.
When they play the third 911 call and they get to the bit that says " She JUST admitted to me that she's been trying to find her herself' and also 'She FINALLY admitted that the babysitter stole her' - neither of those statements were facts that she knew until moments before she made the call. As soon as she learned this she rushed straight to the phone.
Up until that point that Lee got 'the truth' out of Casey she was mainly irritated about the car and the fact that Casey had been 'missing' for a month and was keeping Caylee from them..

They're saying that Cindy lied in order to get the police to respond quicker. If this is what Cindy is going to testify to tomorrow under oath, then she admitting that she lies to get what she wants.

If Lee testifies truthfully, it will nullify what Cindy says. If he says his mother was upset with Casey because Casey wouldn't take her to where Caylee was, but went into a panic when she heard Casey tell him she hadn't seen Caylee for 31 days, that will make Cindy's statement that she was lying to get the police to respond quicker look like a cover-up of her truthful 911 call.

If Lee testifies truthfully, he could put a huge dent in the defense's case.

There seems to be no positive outcome for the defense on this. JMO

They refer to Cindy and George as having "lay" opinions but both of them have smelled "damn" dead bodies before in the course of their jobs, IIRC.

I just can't believe they are attempting to go this route. There are LE interviews with CA that explain these calls. I guess the defense will try and get those interviews thrown out too!

There is a huge difference IMO between "I have known for a month that my daughter is being a spiteful b**** and won't let me see my granddaughter" and "I just found out this second that my granddaughter was kidnapped 31 days ago and my daughter has no idea where she is!"

Interestingly, Cindy flew into a blind panic at that point and mentioned the dead body smell in the same breath as the information about Caylee being missing, despite the fact that Casey was saying, "Calm down, Mom. I just spoke to Caylee on the phone a few hours ago, so we know she's safe." Is it possible that Cindy thought Casey was lying?? :waitasec:

Is it time yet? This week is DRAGGING. My sitter better be on time Thursday so I can sit here and watch with a margarita in hand.

:woohoo: Teenie bikini martini for me

1 oz. coconut rum (the good Caribbean 90 proof stuff )
3/4 oz. vanilla vodka
2 oz. pineapple juice
ice

tip: Double up if you're using a tall glass so you don't have to get up often for refills ;)

Reality had just hit Cindy Anthony squarely in the face when she made the third 911 call. All her fears about Caylee and not talking to her all this time, the car, the smell, the lies, Casey's refusal to take her to Caylee all came together when she overheard Casey tell Lee she had not seen Caylee in 31 days. It came crushing in on Cindy like an avalanche. When Cindy asked Casey "what have you DONE" she meant "what have you done to Caylee". Cindy sobbed hysterically to the dispatcher "She's a three-year-old little girl". It was an excited utterance. IMO.

Large stadium cups work nicely but their use in this situation can negatively impact typing skills. I'm willing to overlook some spelling issues.

Would hysterical laughter count as an excuse for poor typing?

If I have to miss this will somebody put this up on Youtube?

Why hasn't anyone considered ordering pizza that night. You'll be the family hero. JMO

Suggesting pizza and a Bills fan, you would surely be my husband's hero.

Although, he did say "insert an L, a million O's and another L" when I showed him your prediction for this season :truce:

I haven't read the whole thread - please don't yell at me -
but isn't it illegal to lie on a 911 call?
If she says under oath that she lied to get police ther faster, what, if anything, could happen?

I was gonna suggest pizza and wings but I didn't think too many people would be able to get decent wings.

Your husband is smart for being a Bills fan, but wrong about them not surprising. I'm going 8 wins. JMO

OMG!! That would be funny as hell if they charged her with lying on a 911 call. :floorlaugh:

Didn't ICA get arrested for lying to police?
Is lying to 911 different?

You still need to tell me who Tiki looks like. I know off topic.

Tiki looks like Charlie Chaplin and she's a good little baby, too.
She's too cute to be a cat who looks like Hitler.
(although I did put her pic up on that website --hahaha)
