Are you guys being biased when you all say that this is the worst defense ever or have you guys watched a lot of cases and are able to compare? I haven't followed many cases.

It is bad BAD. He's not even defending her... Just, in a round about way, proving the state's case.

I just fail to see how presenting all the ways she 'could have done anything differently' is a defense. We have a mountain of physical evidence of the way she 'DID do it'. This isn't a defense. I'm dumbfounded.

That's really all he can do--and hope he sways at least one juror.

Been listening to the trial at work.
Haven't had time to read all the comments or anything, but
I can't tell you how much better I feel while listening to the defense close.
I don't hate KN and JW, and I admit having stayed away alot because of the potshots taken at them in the forums. I believe in the American Legal System, and I am just as appreciative of JW and KN as I am JM. They have a thankless job, and while I realize that they may have taken an unpopular stance, they have tried their best to defend the undefendable who was a PR nightmare.

BUT, that aside....I almost didn't watch the defense closing, because I truly, I've avoided watching trials since the Anthony joke. I was terrified KN would come up with some sort of smoke and mirrror "If it fits, you must aquitt" moment. But, now, after listening the last hour...I realize that it's truly over. God knows, I've been proven wrong, but I think this is in the bag.

God bless Travis. God bless Travis's family. God Bless those in the Arias family who were also greatly damaged by her evilness.

The defense team earned any potshots ppl have taken at them, they have put on a dishonest case and imo vilifying the victim is about as low as you can go.

No, I have seen decent to outstanding closings by defense attorneys. I remember one notorious case where I thought the defense could have easily gotten an acquittal. This is an inferior closing argument. imo

Anyone else wondering what Jodi is thinking about all of this? Seriously. I wonder if she thinks this is going well....



And they thought Snow White was a big problem? Shoot, I feel like Nurmi just pushed me down the rabbit hole now! LOL

Beach I think Jodi is sick enough to think this is going well. Although having said that, I have never quite seen this expression on her face since the trial started. I think it's weighing on her that she can no longer stall the verdict. No more headaches or no more motions to file. The jury will get the case soon. I'm not certain that they will get it today. If Nurmi uses up all the time until 4:30 then there won't be any time left for Juan to do his rebuttal. But at the very latest the jury will get the case on Monday.

At least the mitigation specialist toned down the nightclub eyeshadow--however, her eyebrows are still painted on.

She couldn't have the eyeshadow clashing with her bling necklace. Can't overdo these things you know?

Willmott has aged a lot more than Jodi during this trial. Jodi has times when she looks bad, but you'll notice Jodi really isn't all that haggard. Look at Jodi today. She's fine. This trial thingy should be over soon.

Heck, I think Jodi wanted to "baptize" Travis in her crazy, murdering way by killing him the shower, easy clean-up too. I still think the knife was her weapon of choice, gun was back-up. 2 weapons used = 2 intruders story...nope, couldn't be Jodi...crazy lie.

I think so too, I think she planned to kill him in the shower and thought hed die right there..but to her surprise he ran out the shower after first getting stabbed and her rage and frustrations that he didn't die as soon as she hoped she went into overkill to make sure she finished the job...which is why after she brutally murdered him she drug him back into the shower so there would be no dna evidence

No - they are covering exactly the same way. Every time the court is live, they are on in real time, just like yesterday.
