After hours of composed testimony, Corey Redwine breaks down in final redirect asking how he feels about his father. "I love him. I wish I didn't have to be here." #markredwine

Replying to @jonwienershow
Redirect was in response to final line of defense questioning that attempted to establish Corey “hated his father” based around the Dr. Phil interview quote.

I feel the jury will overlook the obvious bias Cory has towards Mark because the evidence justifies it and not because the prosecutor got him to say that he loves his father. I really think that Cory hates him and for good reason. JMO

When that question was asked, I thought the defense meant did Cory send those photos to Dylan? (My hearing isn’t the best.) What does it mean for the rest of Cory’s testimony? Do you think the prosecution turned it around?
ETA: Question answered thank you!
The defense scored some points by showing Cory is biased against his father and impeached him with him saying he didn't send the photos to his father when he did.

Cory looks like Mark which I had never noticed before. It’s interesting how he never cared about visitation rights until after they moved it seems IMO

Could it be because he had lost control and suddenly wanted it back.

This honestly happens so often, I have the misfortune of being on family law pages frequently. The amount of parents that are trying to move on with their life and relocate, sometimes with a new partner, sometimes not, where the other partner is objecting and trying to stop the move and suddenly be the best parent ever is really high.

Hope that makes sense…

ETA most of it is control…narcissistic traits-the chn become the only weapon left…it’s so sad.

I always appreciate your posts. But I wouldn't call it "scored." The way the judge keeps snapping at the defence...makes me feel good.
It is what it is. The defense will win on some points during this trial. However, barring the unexpected I expect that it wont matter and this jury will convict.

So what he explained on Dr. Phil is that he planted the photos to get a rise out of the kids. Oh OK. <eye roll>
I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit…did Elaine know about the photos? Here in Aus that would have been enough to withhold the chn…how things could have been different. Not for one second blaming Elaine though, I know what it is like to feel bound to follow court orders that you know damn well aren’t in the best interests of the chn. Not many cases get me bad, but I feel like the hate for Mark has just intensified over the years!
Justice for Dylan.

The Judge told the jury that things will get heated during this trial and he will be balanced when dealing with those issues.

If the Judge does in fact single out the defense and ignore the State in his rulings that will be part of a potential appeal. In other words the Judge can't take sides. JMO

Poor Corey, this is gut wrenching.
Agreed, and it's a ton of pressure on a young man. He loved his brother, he loves his mother, and loves his father, even though that love has changed after Dylan's murder. Even though he's a strong young man, he's an innocent victim here too.

I blame MR for putting all of this agony and hardship on his family.

What I saw was defense wanting to establish bias with Ms Harrison. To me it looked like it didn't work.

She held her own making it clear she did not prepare DR for the judge. She wanted him to speak for himself.

Luv how the judge told defense "She is not LE!" And she didnt have to answer the question.

That then pissed off the defense so there after he would interrupt her answers and not allow her to finish her answers.

FINALLY the judge put a stop to him doing that.

Then the prosecution reasked questions so so could finish her sentence.

BAM!!
