I just found this "People's Response and Motion to Strike Motion to Suppress Unreliable and Suggestive Identification (public access)" today. It begins at #5 about the Mail Lady (not that she dated him), but I hadn't seen this before and thought I'd share. Starting at #5 -- but I liked #15 where it appears she ultimately admitted she no longer believed she saw Dylan that day.

Defense talked about her in his opening. The Audio was horrible that day but you can make out most of it.I had to go full volume. He is saying that LE “ told her not to believe her lying eyes “ and talked her out of saying she saw DR.

First I have heard that that mail carrier who spotted D was a girlfriend to Mark. Is this a MOO, or has this been on the threads and MSM and I totally missed as did not follow trial etc totally?

If anyone can link, or tell me day of testimony that girlfriend/person who spotted.............. WHOA............ I thought was a weak case perhaps but THIS!?

To be clear, this was never a definitive sighting of Dylan by the mail carrier. She allegedly saw two boys and believed one of them resembled Dylan.

Redwine previously denied any involvement in his son’s death. He said Dylan went missing while walking to a friend’s house six miles away. The claim was backed up by Redwine’s mail carrier, according to New Mexcio CBS-affiliate KRQE. The woman said she saw two boys walking on the road.

Interesting reading regarding Angela Lee's [the postal worker or mail carrier or mailman/mailwoman/mail person] "sighting" of Dylan after he went missing. A few paragraphs have been excerpted below.

Paragraph 9 of the document is the disclaimer that she was not sure that she had really seen Dylan that day.

"9. Investigator Golbricht spoke with Angela Lee on March 6, 2013. Ms. Lee expressed that she was upset about the recently televised Dr. Phil show, featuring this case. Ms. Lee regretted doing the show, that she felt the show made her look stupid, and was upset that the defendant repeatedly referenced that she had seen Dylan Redwine in November 2012. She maintained that she was not 100% certain of the identification, and repeated that she was only 60-70% certain."

"10. During this interview on March 6, 2013, Angela Lee denied saying that 'I don't think that Mark was the last person to see Dylan,' which was part of the Dr. Phil show. She also reported that she had been told by her employer that her employment could be terminated due to providing an interview to the television program."

Paragraph 11 is also notable.
"11. In the same interview, Ms. Lee repeated that she had been discussing the case with other witnesses and the defendant. Ms. Lee described speaking with the defendant on multiple occasions between January-March 2013."

It is quite jarring the way he changes tenses so fast ^^ there ...Mind you, this is only 10 days after he went missing, and Dad his already speaking of him in the past tense---" He WAS the light of my life...."

And he says all the right words but he sounds so inauthentic, in my opinion.

If I were to give Mark the benefit of the doubt and say Dylan was alive the following morning I would ask why Dylan left no dirty clothing behind. I think that would be a pretty reasonable thing for Dylan to do considering he was a teenage boy . Then zero mobile phone action as well. Oh then Marks lame excuse Dylan left the tv on Nickelodeon when he had been watching MTV as he wasn’t a little kid anymore.

I would vote guilty too.

The phone info is very damning for Mark. Dylan's pattern is to be in pretty constant touch by text with friends and family. Why did he stop communicating at 8 pm? Why would his phone be turned off at 9:56?

If he fell asleep instantly, why wouldn't he text his friend the next morning, about his planned visit? Why didn't he turn his phone back on?

Why didn't he reply to his friends and his mom ?

It makes no sense that he would go out that morning without doing so. JMO

And if he did inexplicably go hiking alone that morning, and not tell anyone, why would he drag all of his belongings along with him?

Ha! With that horrible muffled sound that day of the openings, you can barely make out what defense is saying, but after he takes a sip water you clearly hear a “thump” when he puts that water bottle down! Glad they cleared up that sound problem by the next day.

Not sure if this has been posted before but about the supposed sighting by the mail lady—on Dylan's old webpage, Hope for Dylan Redwine there is a timeline provided by Elaine on January 16th, 2013 which is a good read. It says, "People reported seeing him walking but all of those reports turned out to be unsubstantiated. (There is another older boy at the lake who looks similar to Dylan)."

I used to go to this page a lot back in Dylan's old days of missing. I always believed Mark was involved.

Thanks, ha! Understood. I guess I was just surprised and questioned as I had not recalled that this was previously known information. I took a sabbatical from the thread and missed that news or just forgot that they had dated.
