You saw an LE source in MSM say that foul play by TS was suspected on day 2?

I've followed this case since day one, along with many others, and this is the first I'm seeing this, so a link would be handy to this info in MSM.
TIA.
In the presser they said all evidence pointed to foul play...and I believe they declared Gannon's death on 1/27 the day he went missing.

He only ruled on the "advisement". Separate requests must be submitted for other proceedings.
Was that live? I am just curious if any reasoning was given by the judge for approving it and how thought processes go for media stuff

I’m too stupid to get this open on my phone. Did he grant a closed courtroom or no?
Court Rules and FINDS there is no reasonable likelihood that expanded media coverage would interfere with the rights of the parties to a fair trial. The Court also FINDS there is no reasonable likelihood that expanded media coverage would unduly detract from the solemnity, decorum and dignity of the court and expanded media coverage would not create adverse effects that would be greater than those caused by traditional media coverage. The Court GRANTS the request for expanded media coverage.
The limitations set forth in “Conditions for Coverage” in Rule 3 apply subject to any specific policy set forth by the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center. Further, recording will be solely of the advisement in this case and will take place from the lobby of the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center.
This Order applies only to the Request for Expanded Media Coverage filed KOAA-TV for the advisement potentially scheduled for March 5 or March 6, 2020 and does not authorize any other entity to engage in Expanded Media Coverage. This Order does not authorize any entity to engage in Expanded Media Coverage for any proceeding other than the date of the proceeding specified herein. Any entity desiring Expanded Media Coverage of any proceeding other than that referenced herein must submit a separate request for that specific proceeding.
Done this 4th day of March, 2020

Why 2 years? Do you think the abuse started when they moved to Colorado?

Imo, we already know she has at least 2 assault related charges. I think it's a pattern and she is just an abusive person. People who have domestic and assault charges are repeat offenders. For every arrest there are usually 100 other incidents of abuse perpetrated by the person that they never get arrested or charged for, because they commit these acts on family members and spouses who are afraid to call police. So i believe she is an abusive person. Maybe narcissistic, but definately abusive. She is always the victim. It takes years and years of targeted therapy for batterers not to batter or abuse. Gannon probably didn't even do anything wrong to get in trouble. Abusive people live in their own reality where they are always in the right and they manipulate situations to justify what they have done.

I didn't know she already had 2 assault charges. I 100% agree with your point that if they have that many there's probably tons more examples that people let go.

I said two years because she stated she had been taking care of Gannon for 2 years. I think she found a sweet gentle boy that she could control and manipulate and has been abusing him the entire time. 2 years is just the number of years she said she'd been watching him. I mean "the entire time she'd been raising him in her control."

I agree. She will not admit to anything unless presented with irrefutable proof, and then try to plea. That’s the only way she will give up the location of GS body.....if she gets something out of it.

she has already been setting up her case of LE abusing power. Her stories of LE in her first interview given with Spencer (forgot last name) and also her complaints about not getting an attorney during the extradition hearing are clear indications of this.
JMHO
I think we all know that if there is abuse, it will be TS abusing the legal system. But even in the event of irrefutable proof, I have no reason to believe TS will reveal his location. Doing so is an act of giving which requires compassion. She can't give what she doesn't have.

It is her PD that will have to convince her of something to gain by offering to reveal the location. Again, I hope that I am wrong.

I don't think she concealed the body at all. This is because her ORIGINAL story was that he left her house between 2-3 to walk to a friends house. IMO he died in the car from a concussion after she beat him over the head in a fit of rage the night before. I also think this is why she stated that he was "pooping his pants." If my theory is correct and he died in the car his body would have released after death. So she's explaining that away.

Knowing that the head injury is likely what killed him she'd stage a crime scene making it look like he fell. So I think she would throw him off a ravine or throw him next to train tracks to explain his blunt trauma to his head. (I am basing this on her original statements and the way she seemed like she was so sure that people would apologize. I am also basing this on her obvious growing frustration. The longer it takes them to find the body the less her "story" can match the details. So IMO she wanted him to be found right away but can't say anything to indicate where he might be.

Only after they found the blood did she change the story to an abductor coming to the house. Only after the video footage came out did she start talking about the side gate key. (To explain why he wasn't on camera leaving the front door path.)

But who knows. I just think the timeline adds up and her truths within her lies are revealing.

BTW I apologize for reposting my ideas. These threads go by so fast and sometimes a new person quotes and I'm not sure they read the old one.
Thanks @Chewy. Those are all very good points/observations.

Relevant portion

January 29: News 5 Investigates receives a credible tip from law enforcement sources, alerting us that Gannon was not a runaway child and foul play is suspected. Our sources disclosed that Gannon's stepmom was considered a prime suspect. As part of our fact-checking process, Chief Investigative Reporter Eric Ross reached out to Jacqueline Kirby, the media relations manager for the El Paso County Sheriff's Office along with Sergeant Deborah Mynatt, a spokesperson for the office.

"We will not be confirming any information that you have in your email," Kirby said. "This is an active ongoing investigation in the search for an 11-year-old boy. Any information prematurely released that has not been confirmed by the El Paso County Sheriff's Office would greatly hinder this investigation and would be very irresponsible journalism."

Thanks for that.
The OP stated that LE stated foul play by TS was suspected.
While I'm sure it was (heck, the vast majority of members here knew it was her behind his disappearance almost immediately, so I'm sure LE did too),
LE actually never did name her as a suspect or a POI.

You’re totally fine! Lots of speculation has been put out there, and your theories could be just as correct as others. After all, the only word we have regarding the sock and wood is from LS. We won’t know the truth regarding the evidence until the affidavit is released, or until the preliminary hearing or trial.

I think it’s a good sign that they are allowing expanded media. CO is notorious for wanting closed court. This decision is possibly setting a precedent for the future hearings and possible eventual trial in this case.

I will forwarn everyone however, (and I know many are already aware, but for some newcomers) the prosecution will be revealing their case. They will be talking about evidence found, possible details of past abuse and a detailed theory of what they think happened. This won’t be for the faint of heart to listen to.

I recently watched Thomas valva hearing of advisement.....it was traumatizing to listen to. It’s one thing to hear these in adult cases, but in children cases, it’s so hard. I will never be able to unhear what was heard and hearing thomas’ mother sobbing in the background with each thing the prosecution said. I was thinking “and this is just the advisement hearing.....I can’t imagine when it goes to trial”.
