This is absolutely chilling....
I drive right by that spot all the time going to and from my daughter's house in Pace. The Escambia River Bridge / HWY 90 is very busy so I'm not sure how she was able to put him there. It must've been done in the middle of the night.
I actually drove past that poor child's body a few days ago. Of all the places I thought Gannon could be I never dreamed he'd be dumped in Florida. And I sure never thought he'd be found between my house and my daughter's house.

Just awful and heartbreaking.
Is there usually water under there rather than all those rocks?

She had the car for 28-1/2 hours, and averaged 33.5 MPH for the entire time. That's not doing a lot of door to door, without a lot of high speed interstate travelling.

Could he have been alive for more of the time, lessening the decomposition? Or she been creepy enough to ice him down, refrigerate, or even leave in a running vehicle with the A/C cranked?

Would you really just pick up a suitcase, feel it had some weight to it, and then just continue not to open it?

Also, like you said, not to mention the smell. I'm sure they knew something was going on with it.

I'm opening that suitcase 10 out of 10 times. But, I'm also a nosy/curious person in general, so.

That isn't what I said. Read my post. I wasn't questioning what he or she would have done AFTER picking up the suitcase. Of course a person would open it after picking it up. I was just picturing in my mind a road construction worker seeing a suitcase and thinking, oh people toss things out of their cars all the time and just keep doing their roadwork. Anyway, I've already answered a few others about my original post. It is no big deal and no need to belabor it.

I’m not going to pretend to understand this at the moment. I just saw it on CNN’s website. That thing killed her stepson, I assume in Colorado. She drove his body thousands of miles to Florida and she somehow wound up in one of the Carolinas.

Is this still in effect?:?:

(BBM)

How in the hell do you drive across the big old USA with a DEAD KID IN YOUR CAR??????

How long did it take and did she have big blocks of ice or something? How would that be feasible?

How did she deal with and how did anyone else around escape the SMELL?!?

We all need some good sound and very loud cussing. I ain’t typing it but I keep thinking of a four letter c-word that ain’t “cool.”

Questions we're all looking for answers to. To any "normal" person, this transfer doesn't seem feasible. But we're dealing with someone who has shown they are anything but "normal."

I mean, she murdered her own eleven year old step son, with 3 different objects. I think it's safe to say, it wasn't fast or painless.

She's already shown she will go to great lengths, I guess this was just another one of those.

I will be patiently (or not so patiently) waiting for the arrest affidavit, so as to have some insight to some of these questions.

When you did the interview with her, did you get any ‘vibes’ that she was lying? Evil? Both?

Spencer Wilson Biggest red flag was when she asked to redo her final statement, talking directly to Gannon. First try, normal composition. Second try, tears and sobbing. Pretty much the definition of “putting on the water works.”

Is this on tape? Hopefully he releases the unedited clip

That's really interesting to me.

I say that because if I come across a suitcase or a container on the side of the road, I'm probably not opening it.

It comes from having internalized the belief instilled in me as a kid that, "If something doesn't belong to you, you don't have the right to touch it."

I think your decision to open a suitcase on the side of the road is the correct one, obviously.

I still don't know if I could break that internal taboo r/t inspecting other people's property, even abandoned property.
I think that’s just lovely. I however, subscribe to the doctrine of “no name, fair game.”

Lets just say you’d better have a luggage tag on your suitcase at the airport...

Just kidding, I don’t care about damn luggage tags. I love surprises way too much for that.

Sorry, I was just assuming the luggage was in the way of construction, or it was common practice to throw away trash for them? I've never worked construction, but I'm a bit of a "tree hugger" lol (as In I throw away random trash I see all the time). So this doesn't seem the least bit odd to me, but I forget every place is different and every person is different.

Santa Rosa investigates body found near Escambia River Bridge

Posted Mar 17, 2020 at 2:35 PM
MILTON—The Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office was contacted by the Florida Department of Transportation Tuesday afternoon in reference to a body found near Escambia River Bridge on the Santa Rosa County side.

A road crew was working in that area when the body was located, according to a press release from the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office.

At this time, Sheriff's Major Crimes and Crime Scene units are on scene working this case.

This is an active investigation.

More information will be released as it becomes available.

Colorado IS a freezer (or at least refrigerator) in January. If he was left outdoors from Jan 27- ?? before being taken to Florida.

I've been looking through some of Landen's photos and breaking my heart over and over. It's so unfair. How could she hate him so much? Was she jealous? Was it revenge? There were so many options if she was unhappy about having him in the house. Why this?? I also noticed in the pictures where his hands are visible that his nails were badly chewed up. I know a lot of kids have that habit but knowing what we know I believe it was a sign of extreme anxiety.

Have the police said they believe she acted alone or no? The police were quick to confirm that about Faye's killer. Maybe she has a relative in AL, FL or MS who helped. How did she manage to drive 1200 miles when presumably the police were watching her.

LOL, bet you've ended up with some goodies.

For those that think Gannon was handed off to someone else or left Colorado Springs alive. What do you make of the original murder charge and the charge regarding the remains?

What would their basis for those charges be if she had actually last seen him alive and they did not charge anyone else?

Is this on tape? Hopefully he releases the unedited clip
it’s on youtube. if you look up the interview at the end he asks if she has a message for gannon and she continues in her normal voice and then it cuts to a close frame of the back of her head and she’s mumbling crying saying please come home etc

On the question of whether she had help: maybe unknowing help? I think police really clued in she was guilty on Feb. 2 or 3 with R’s video, and started trying to surveil her — but did they know exactly where she was to begin the surveillance? She wasn’t at the family home any longer by Feb. 2. Tee was making a big to-do about death threats at the time. Friends or relatives may have helped her stay off the LE radar unintentionally by renting a hotel room under their name, renting a car they allowed her to use, etc., based on her telling them she was getting death threats from online “keyboard warriors.” Without realizing they were aiding a murderer. Those same people may have told police about any rentals, etc. once questioned (hence at least 1 relative on the witness list).

I think AS confronted Tee after he saw that video, spooking her to move Gannon’s body on Feb. 3rd. Personally, I don’t think anyone helped her *intentionally* with the actual crime or the cover up.

i am so glad they have found G... for so many reasons. At least his family can say goodbye on their terms now.

the prosecution can flay her .. no deals, no letting her feel she has any control over anything anymore. she lost, game over

I think she acted alone. imo it looks like she moved him multiple times, firstly using the rental to get him further away and then next collecting him and taking him to florida.
i think she could have overcome the decomp smell easily enough, large well sealed container tapped up would stop the smell from escaping making it easier to transport and disguise what she was doing. have seen other cases where similar method was used and nobody smelled anything till the seal was broken.
i hate to think about the knife aspect ... my guess to facilitate the fitting of him into such a container sadly.
she dropped off the radar so quickly, moving out of home allowed her to move undetected for days after.
if she had an accomplice they would have to have some very strong connection to her to be willing to help her and to stay silent. if i had helped her i can tell you the minute she was arrested i would have turned myself in and spilled all the details in exchange for a deal... i wouldn't trust Tee to protect me.

I am way behind in reading, so forgive me if this has been brought up previously. Am I mistaken in my remembrance of an (unfounded) sighting at a gas station in Florida early on? Is it possible TS herself or someone on her “team” called this in so that when the body was found, she could be like, “SEE?! I told you he was kidnapped?!”
That sighting was in Colorado.

Editor's note: The Sheriff's Office has since confirmed that Gannon was last seen at his home in Lorson Ranch, not on surveillance camera at a *advertiser censored* & Go gas station as was first stated. Authorities viewed recordings from the store's security cameras and found that Gannon was not there.
