@Boxer Thank you for pointing out the benefit to those seeking justice for Gannon. Geeez-us, this woman is frustrating!Agree. Each motion takes time. But also it increases defendents dread so MOO its a wash.
Doing this now keeps prosecution on secure ground by ticking off all the boxes to prevent a reversal on appeal.
She is crazy just not the kind of crazy the court recognizes as specifically incapable of understanding the harm they do.
Insanity defense loopholes got cleaned up decades ago in most states.
From your link:
...If Stauch is ruled incompetent, she can be held for indefinite treatment — up to the rest of her life — under the first-degree murder charge...
I think she's guilty, and I want her punished, too...but whoa. This is terrifying.
Trying to play crazy n doing crazy things isn't going to help her stay in a mental hospital. She's gonna have to rev things up to stay-which I'll be expecting and sadisticly enjoying.MOO her crime and cover up were crazy and maybe she is progressing to fully psychotic.
If not, a criminal mental facilty is as bad or worse than prison as she will find out.
Yes I agree. LS is losing the hold she’s had on her daughter, to a certain degree, and trying to retain it in any way she can. It is very selfish of LS to implicate her daughter or throw her under the bus in any way. This is JMO.Great post imo.
I've felt sorry for HH. She's young, raised by a nut of a mother and an only child. Now this? Can you imagine? What a horrible position to be in!
It's interesting to me that LS's note to HH was still all about LS basically. I think the point of the letter was to remind her to stay focused on what their "plan" was. I think LS is afraid of HH talking. I wonder if HH hasn't been taking LS's calls or writing her. Idk.
Would she be held in a state psyche ward for treatment or sent back to jail? I kind of think the state psyche ward. Those places can be scary. jmo
I haven't been under the impression yet that LS is trying to implicate her daughter of throw her under the bus, but rather needs her to stick with the narrative they discussed. I doubt HH will as time goes on. I just can't imagine the position she's found herself in. So confusing. I really feel for her.Yes I agree. Perhaps you are right. But nothing TS says or does is for the benefit of anyone but herself.I haven't been under the impression yet that LS is trying to implicate her daughter of throw her under the bus, but rather needs her to stick with the narrative they discussed. This isn’t the place she is being sent to (Pueblo doesn’t have much info on their website) but I came across this after reading one of 10’s posts and found it interesting:
California Department of State Hospitals - Atascadero
She's not staying there long. She's competent very in fact. She systematically did/does things. Insane people don't. Being incompetent would of been just sitting there in a horror scene bumbling to yourself til LE showed up.
