I understand what you're saying. I really want to think he took off too. SM has given everyone on the internet some real insight into her personality and I can only imagine what life was like for that poor kid under her care, especially if Dad was away a lot. I could see him wanting to run away.
I think even if that was the case, the only way he'd be okay for this span of time is if someone was sympathetic to what he was going through and agreed to help him. Unfortunately as soon as SM started talking about cuts in the garage the slim possibility of that being the scenario in my mind was completely dashed. Poor little boy.
Yeah. My theory has been that an act of abuse got out of hand, and murder was the only way to cover it up.

Today, she all but solidified that in my mind. There was blood, she knew law enforcement likely found it, and now had to come up with a story to explain that all away.

Here’s the problem though. I doubt law enforcement found a great deal of blood, as we know Gannon walked to the car, and never returned.

So we have a decent idea of the basic outline, but that’s not enough to make an arrest, especially for murder.

They’ll get there though, it’s only a matter of when.

In the most current public comments / statement SM/TS mentions Gannon checking the gate and having the key to the gate & his being the man of the house while BF/AS/Dad is away.

Is this a backyard/garden gate? Private area? Covered by cameras belonging to neighbors.

Apologies if this has already been covered. My mind keeps going back to these comments & won't let go.

TIA

MOO
there is a photo posted i think on the last thread. Looks like it comes out just to the left of the garage as you look at the house. As though you could enter the gate, and then turn right into the (house or garage?), or continue straight to the back yard. There were a couple of posters on earlier who knew about the layout. But there was a good photo posted.

I think LS will keep stepping into ever-deeper goo. If I were with LE, I'd take my time analyzing her various statements before talking to her (or other witnesses).

Even if they have to reach out to her through lawyers, I'm quite sure that at some point they'll have more questions for her. Her lawyer will advise her to remain cooperative as long as lawyer is present. Certain aspects of evidence (DNA samples, fingerprints) do not fall under most states' laws about the right to remain silent.

I wonder if they photographed her when they talked to her. I hope so. I also wonder if AS is speaking to her - because he should be able to get something out of her, if anyone can.

If Gannon had hopped out of that truck alive and well, his Dad's reported reaction to seeing the video wouldn't make much sense.

MOO

I don't think anyone (even LS) is claiming that it's easy to see what happened. LS is claiming we can see him get out - but I can't see him. There are frames missing, because it's a poor copy of the footage, but I don't see anything that looks like someone getting out of the car.

LS also claimed there was other video that would show the other side of the car. It's too bad that whoever has this video will not give it to her so that she can put it up online and exonerate herself (at least from the claim that she disappeared Gannon during a 4 hour window).

Ok, I was wrong about the staging area and search being near the FD in Monument. Staging has been just north of Palmer Lake off Hwy 105 - south of Perry Park/Larkspur. They've been seen searching around Woodmor Mountain, which is a gated subdivision near there, but they've been hush-hush about search area specifics.

Thanks for posting this. I looked at it.
Yesterday a poster also pointed out a shadow near the rear tire, it botherered me because it is avery clear shadow.
I looked at the yesterday. I searched the model of Frontier Crew cab truck and the back crew door open toward the rear. Meaning that a kid hopping out of the truck with intention of going toward the back of the truck would jump out almost even with the front of the back wheel.
Previous to this, I thought the feet would have to be visible coming down in front of the strip of light between the two parked vehicles, but there is clearly something making a shadow there, and a dark shadow like the rear back door.
MOO after watching this, MOO IMHO GS did return with her as she said. My only proof that he did not come back with her would be not seeing him descend from the vehicle. So looking at this many times, I would have to say that it does look like he he jumped out. 6:36 to 6:40.

Am I going to have to eat crow again (Heidi Broussard)? Trying to catch up, but don't have enough time to read back. Are we in a majority on this? Did Gannon come back home with her? If so and he did leave when she said. Where's the video proof?

Thank you!

Me on the assumption again that she did something, idk why she even mentioned the gate, it just sounds so irrelevant. If she said Gannon went to his friends house, he'd go out the garage or the front door.

Hazelnutty, it's the sidegate to the backyard.

I'm with you, do we know for sure how\when little sis got home? Anyway, if it happened to be the sister she would notice that GS was already not at home. She must have been interviewed (imo) and I wonder if she was at home when he disappeared between 3:15 and 4, per SM. Do we know that?
That’s the one question in my mind, when does little sis get home from school and how, bus or parental pickup? I bet she knows something.

Instead of from Day 1 just telling a story where she and Gannon went out, returned, and he got out on the passenger side, then ran away later (for no apparent reason), she’s going the long way around by talking about shadows, implying it was him (after seeing or getting wind of discussions about that)
I don’t see any room for a scenario where she isn’t the reason he’s gone and hasn’t come back.
