I would like to see the “microphone” in question again. If anyone has the link would you please repost. I don’t know much of anything about devices like this but after a quick google search they do make handheld metal detectors that look similar to a microphone. In my opinion it would be painstaking work to use something this small so it could very well just be a microphone. Would they even allow news crews to get this close to searchers?

That was a microphone. Video recorded for presentation during news programs is edited to fit the story narrative as written by the reporter. It is quite common for sound engineers to record audio separate from video recording and to use snippets of this and that (video and audio) during the edit process. It's common practice.

How many people do you know have been interviewed by a reporter, accompanied by a camera person and also maybe a sound person, regarding a missing child who had been under your immediate charge? Depending on the level of stress and experiences in speaking to strangers regarding very delicate situations, we should expect her presentation might be different as compared to if she were participating in casual conversation with family members.

In this case, a television interview not filtered by social media, and a longish screed released by herself, unfiltered by social media.

Sure, anyone in an interview can answer in a way that afterwards they kick themselves. That's why she was insisting, "let me elaborate", ie to make very sure she got her points into the interview. But whether or not she was uncomfortable in her own interview, that has nothing at all to do with what you actually posted, that we are only addressing what she said through the filter of social media. Not true.

A possibility: SM is not involved in GS' disappearance, that GS did leave with a someone, that LE has not been able to determine identity/location of that someone but is basing search locations on a 'possibilities' list, a list of potential individuals who GS may have left with that afternoon.

As mnuch as I expect many of you on the forum don't want to believe this, it IS a possibility, regardless of how SM comes across through the filter of Social Media.

I do want to believe this. I’m still holding out a sliver of hope he’s alive and safe. I feel a little silly for it because the odds are so against it. Especially with her diarrhea of the mouth looney toons performance with in the press.

True, anything is possible. But if that's what happened why would she lie and say Gannon went to a friend's house down the street and then later say he may have been picked up by someone and that she told LE who may have sent that person and why?

She did sat she noticed that Gannon, on Saturday, kept going around to the side of the house so why wouldn't she tell LE all this when they first interviewed her?

I think the foot injury is just another of her "Look over HERE!"ruses. A way to explain how his blood ended up in the garage and/or on the "edge of the car".

I think there was specific knowledge that led to them where the current search is located. My guess is the raw data from GPS/pings/other electronics has been sorted into a narrative that can be used by LE. That takes time; raw data doesn't just show up like your recent call list on your mobile. I only learned that a few months ago, I had some naive idea that your mobile data would just get handed over in this tidy list that shows everything you've done. I had no idea it was a really labour-intensive task, like translating machine language to words.


I think TS is going to be like some of the other blazing narcissists we've seen and she'll go into prison, sentenced to LWOP plus however many years, with a mountain of evidence, still crying innocence forevermore.
