One of the critical components missing from this interview is a sense of urgency to get the word out about Gannon. His height, weight, hair colour and clothing and shoes.

His favourite places to go.....parks, libraries, donut shops, book stores, tobogganing hills. etc.
That should have been the goal for this 10 minute and 21 second interview in her 1st opportunity to speak about his disappearance.

We, the public, knew nothing about her tense interaction with LE until she mentioned it! We also didn't need to hear her air her feelings about bio mom or who is 'owed an apology.'

If she had spent even 5 of those minutes telling us about Gannon, we could be focusing our time and energy trying to figure out where he might be, and not analyzing her words!

I am frustrated with myself for becoming more focused on her behaviour than I am on mapping out where an 11 year old could run off to....and I hope to hell he has simply run off.

I am now re-directing my focus to what matters. Where is Gannon?

Agree. Here’s a couple: Where do you think the most central focus of mapping is? WS loves locals that are willing to speak about their community area specific to Gannon’s possible paths. As if he was running away as fast as he could. Shortcuts?

As I mentioned above, in NY your teaching license is permanent. Your contract doesn't have anything to do with giving up your license, which is what she stated in MSM.

I asked in what state her license was obtained because I was wondering if she moved to another state and just wasn't certified in the state she moved to. I was considering possibilities to support the claims that were made in MSM. I don't believe that is sleuthing since it was she herself who brought it up.

As I said, I did not understand what she was trying to say. It does not make sense to me.

I'm playing catch up. Since the bio dad and bio mom had already given an interview, didn't they cover that very pertinent information? Jmo

If this woman is entirely innocent of having anything whatsoever to do with Gannon's disappearance, then yes of course it makes sense that she'd be angry, indignant, defensive and all the things. I suppose anyone likely would feel the same way. And at the end of this case if it turns out that in fact she had nothing to do with it, then I suppose everyone assuming her guilt will have to handle that in their own way. I'm trying super hard not to assume guilt but she sure didn't help with that interview.

That said, there's a LOT we just don't know. We don't know the facts about why she's out of the family home. We don't know the facts about what kind of conversation, if any, transpired about "but I have to get mine and [daughter's name] clothes and personal hygiene items". We don't know if she really wasn't allowed to gather some personal affects or if she just didn't, and left. We don't know who's idea it was to have her stand in a field and do an interview. It's possible it was the reporter's idea to have her stand there so the neighborhood was seen in the background. We don't know where Gannon is, who he's with (if anyone), how he got there or if he's ever coming home.

It would be really nice if LE would provide some kind of update to rule out this, or confirm that, type of update.

This is true. There is so much we don’t know about why she is out of the house. Normally what you would have expected to happen in a case like this is that BD would be home with his present wife, SM. If the best interests of Gannon were at heart, the polite thing to do when BM got to town would have been to say you are welcome to stay here with us until we find him. Now things could have been bad between BM and SM long before this, and that would never happen, but the fact that SM is out of her own home and BM is in speaks volumes. Was SM’s relationship with Dad faltering before Gannon went missing? If so, was she resentful of the fact that she had to mind his son while he was away?
Even if she had nothing to do with Gannon’s disappearance, it doesn’t make sense that she’s not in her own house. Maybe there was a blow up and she stormed out. When I was in LE we were often called to provide escort and protection for a person who needed to retrieve personal belongings from a home in a domestic situation. Apparently she has not asked for that.

Is that a selfie? Has it been stated in msm that SM volunteered the photo? Did I read somewhere her phone was confiscated by LE? idk It should have a date/time stamp. Does anyone know the date that photo appeared in msm?

Believe you me, LE have not disregarded that Google search on his phone. It is very much an intricate part of the investigation, as well as the person who typed it. [ whether that be Gannon or someone else].

For sure. I just meant the media is not promoting him as a runaway anymore or discussing the phone history. So to me that means they don't buy that he wrote it. If they did, I feel it would have stayed front and center and the case would have felt more like a runaway investigation, even if his listing was changed to endangered.

I can not imagine the inner anguish Gannon’s mom and dad are feeling when no one is looking, as something or someone has threatened to take the beautiful purpose that their child has been fulfilling away.

I sincerely hope that the stepmom had nothing to do with this, but one thing is for sure. She seems to be hiding something. My gut feeling has been that an accident of some sort happened and she is afraid of losing her marriage and career, so she is doing her best to cover it up. All of her histrionics is part of the cover up, because she is backed against a corner and does not know what else to do. If it gets her a high profile lawyer due to her rights being “violated,” even better. MOO.

I’m glad you noticed that. Good catch. What was the exact description - a blue jacket? Did it get changed to a hoodie? At what point? Back to the beginning. These two are the original drone videos captured immediately after the alert was announced. There must be a reason Mr. Wilson began here.

Reviewing the press conference again, this is when I got out of it.

1. Jacqueline Kirby makes a point to help us to understand how the bio mom and the bio dad are hurt and no one would ever want to be in their position. She only talks about the bio mom and the bio dad being parents.

Edit: SM is not at the press conference.

2. We have all asked who actually made the 911 call. Watch the press conference again, it says the reporting person was a "he."

3. This reporting person stated he saw Gannon on Sunday. [I'm guessing he was the neighbor].

4. When asked if the stepmother was cooperating, he does not answer the question, he only says that they have certain leads exhausted. Now if someone could explain that to me, in light of the fact that the Jetta has been impounded, what that exactly means.

5. When asked if there was a PIO he stumbles a little bit and then he gives his definition of Persons of Interest. And then tells us these people are being questioned on the information they have in locating Gannon. Or something like that.

6. When a reporter asked about foul play, he wouldn't answer the question. He only said that Gannon safety is paramount to them.

7. When a reporter asked about sex offenders in the area, he said they are not looking at that. [ that tells me a lot right there].

8. And as we have heard over and over, they have went through video extensively and there is not Gannon on any video they have researched thus far.

If her goal was to defend herself then she certainly is not doing a good job.

All she has done is cast suspicion on herself and her daughter.

Why would LE handcuff and detain her daughter?

Why did they take her car? The must have had a very good reason if they had a warrant to search the car. That the daughter was handcuffed and the stepmom had a gun pointed at her only implies that they were less than cooperative.

LE do not draw their weapons and put people in handcuffs and detain them for no reason.

If she is telling the truth, that is.

So... if GS did the search that was on his phone, he would have learned that you can't trace a phone if it's off.

And yet, he didn't take his phone with him.

Why do the search at all, then?

Also, that doesn't sound like a search an 11-year-old would even do, both the wording and the search itself. My kids are a bit older, but when I suggest they search for info on Google, etc they look at me like I have multiple heads. They don't use search engines. Maybe they're unusual though.

Thanks, I love it when people supply these analyses. Do we know, apart from this press conference if the neighbor was in contact with the father via telephone or was he in contact with SM? IE if it was the neighbor who called 911 (IF) then who asked him to? Do we know yet who gave permission to Gannon to go visit friends, possibly via telephone, or if anyone did at all?

It may be in the press conference. I can't believe how much I ascertained from listening to it again. There was so much I miss the first time.

Did anyone read through the contract dispute in full for LS? It explains some of the perceived resentment in her interview with LH. I’m wondering if maybe Gannon picked up on this (as kids do) and if it made home life strained enough that he would want to run away. JMO
