Her family just came forward recently that she is missing. She's been missing for almost two months, without even word to her friends, roommates or social networking sites. Left vital things at her home. Pretty sure this a 'real' missing persons case first and foremost, LE has said as much, and not an elaborate prostitution intervention.
The 'she knew what she was getting into so she made her bed!' is a little depressing and hopefully (and most likely) the professionals who are dealing with this aren't treating it that way.
