As posted last night, I ended up going through some of the *advertiser censored* adult cam sites I know about. Unfortunately, I see nothing of Kara there and nothing of the POI. Of course, there are a ton of other cam sites I am not familiar with so there's still a chance she could be on one of those. However, the more popular ones do not seem to have a sign of her or the POI.

I don't know whats going on with this case but it's so frustrating. If Kara is involved in escorting, and her parents are aware of it, they need to come out with this info. Revealing something like that could really assist in finding this young woman. I understand it's hard to publicly announce your child is involved in the adult industry but it needs to be done, if this is the case. Just MOO.

I got the impression, via their statement on the FB yesterday about it being a Kara they were not familiar with (paraphrasing, of course), that they didn't know it went past lingerie modeling, if indeed it even has.

I've been following their FB page too and I had the same impression. I am not blaming the family in the least bit but I can't help but to think there are things that are not being mentioned by LE, the family etc. I know they cannot tell us everything because that could potentially make it harder to find her. I just am annoyed with the situation, and I strongly feel people close to her are not telling everything they know. It's happened in other missing persons cases. JMO. All I care about at this point is that she makes it home safe. I feel she was "lost" and got mixed in with the wrong people.
 
I'm going to wait until I hear something conclusive from LE. But if this is a voluntary situation, I will be heartbroken for her parents. It's not like they or LE, can demand she return to Colorado and live a safer lifestyle. I can't imagine having to worry about my own daughter's well-being in that way : (

I don't know in this case, but many times the pictures in the escort ads are not the pictures of the actual girl going to knock on your door... Many times it's a bait. The girl will tell you that's an old picture, or the girl is unavailable at this day of the month...

There is one thing about all those young aspiring models you can find on MM and other sites looking for work. They are girls who can't get into a model agency(don't get contract) but they still believe they can make it with the help of other sites.
On those sites you have amateur "photographers" posing as real ones who will pay a fee if the girl poses for them. The photographer will keep the pictures and the rights to them, the girl get promised some of the pictures maybe even work. Those pictures will then get sold to anyone who are interested to buy them and are prone to appear as ads for some services in the adult industry without the knowledge of the girl as she signed her rights away. Those are many times the pictures from the same photographer with the same backgrounds, in the same few poses with different girls.

Now I'm not discounting that there are real escorts -willing or victims of trafficking- advertising with their own pictures, I only trying to say that things are not always what they seem at first sight.

I have no idea in which category Kara belongs in all this but I hope she will be found soon.
 
I am assuming she knows people are looking for her. I also think she is alive but just stuck in a really bad situation, which in MO is prostitution or forceful escorting. Many people think that once a woman enters the prostitution world that they can just up and leave when they want to, however that is not always the case. I do believe she is being held against her will as if she was not, I am thinking she'd at least contact someone in her family to let them know she is OK. Then again, we've all seen cases where the person is voluntarily missing and knows everyone is searching for them but still doesn't have the respect to just pick up the phone and say they are fine.

Someone surely knows where Kara is, and they need to come forward. Even though I believe she is alive at this exact moment, who knows what kind of trouble she could get into if this continues. I truly fear for her safety. MOO
 
I am suddenly struck by something Kara says on her MM page. She says that her current financial situation did not allow her to do unpaid modeling gigs. She needed money now for her time and work. I wonder what her financial situation was. Had she been cut off financially from her parents at 19? That in itself is not unusual, but I wonder if there is more on that end of the story. Obviously, money is the ultimate motivator. Add financial distress and rebellion to the mix, however, and things can get crazy.
 
Wow, something is going on behind the scenes. Just been to the Las Vegas Advetisement of a girl named "Star", which undoubtedly is using pictures of Kara. This Ad is now no longer available nor are any other ad pics connected to Kara on this site. Also, there was a website called "Sipsap", that recently posted pics of Kara and the brunette advertising their services, this too has withdrawn that particular ad. Hmmm, i wonder if LE have had them taken down or maybe those responsible for Kara's disappearance.
I notice the college escort pics are still up and running....maybe MissSunshine and her fab sluething skills on this thread could look into this too....

This leads me to believe that someone was using her pics because I don't think she would be traveling from Colorado to Vegas for a job.

I also found another one using the name "Sammie" posted in early September in Vegas. I am sure there are a lot more floating around.

I hope that someone wasn't using her pictures to see if they could make money off of her then taking her for that purpose. I also wonder if Kara discovered her pictures being used and perhaps went to confront whoever took the pictures of her?

7NEWS discovered some websites centered on the trafficking taking place in Colorado and Denver. We found posts from "customers," who use the sites to talk about and even "rate" victims.

I am not sure what websites they are talking about but, whether or not Kara is a victim of this, something more needs to be done about the trafficking issue in the United States.

Do you think that maybe the more recent ads, after Kara vanished, have been removed then. It seems very strange that the 702hotgirl ad just comes up as "this advertisment is no longer available". It hasn't even been replaced by another girl ad.
I too don't think Kara was escorting. I believe whoever is responsible for Kara's disappearance played the long game, tricking her into a photoshoot for lingerie, and getting her to pose in the exact way wanted in order to use the photos in their future plans. Maybe the photographer was introduced to Kara through the elusive "Brunette". I think maybe these Brunette woman, befriended Kara, acting almost like mentors to her...being in "the know" and having "trustworthy" contacts. I think they probably hung out with Kara for a good while leading up to her disappearance all in the name of gaining her trust.
It is really is sad. Jaray wilson, a young 16 year old girl on another thread seems to have fallen victim of the same crime...it shocks me, angers me, upsets me!

So, according to that post, she was claiming to be going to Denver for employment, but really went to a rave instead? Where was the rave? Who was she there with? And why would she leave with strangers or why would her "friends" let her leave with strangers?

Where do the brunette POI's come into this? Were they with her at the rave? Was there no rave at all? Ugh. These questions aren't directed at you, Ransom. Just general questions with no answers. Thank you for directing me to the post that mentions the rave.

It's frustrating, isn't it!! Definitely alot of questions. Good point about the rave. I've been thinking about that too. I notice the poster who informed us of this possibility early on in the thread has not posted since.

Maybe there was a rave where there was a photoshoot opportunity. I myself can't see it...but who knows. There could even be a twist to all this and Kara could have fallen victim to a criminal completely unrelated to "modelling". Like many victims who have fallen victim to terrible crimes, just being in the wrong place at the wrong time. She could even of had a stalker, someone who became obesessed with her after seeing pics, or even after seeing her around town. Who knows?? It's all pretty scary stuff.
 
Also, on the flyer of the POI, the pic of the brunette with tatoos seems to have been photoshopped or something. If you look at the right eye, a black or dark area seems to have been edited in. I'm starting to think that the head has been edited onto the body.....ha ha i'm also starting to think i am losing my mind making statements like that!!! Does anyone else see it??
