Krystal Lee Kenney, in prison in connection to case of Kelsey Berreth's murder, denied parole

Nov 25, 2020

The Idaho woman who took a plea deal in order to help prosecutors put a now-convicted murderer behind bars for the rest of his life was denied parole by the state parole board on Wednesday.

Krystal Lee Kenney, 34, was denied discretionary parole after a board hearing Wednesday morning, according to a person with knowledge of the decision, and will be eligible to go before the board again this time next year during her annual parole application hearing, the person said.

Kenney is currently at the Denver Women's Correctional Facility.

Thanksgiving. Kelsey should be alive, making cinnamon rolls and that sweet potato casserole and spending the holiday with her beloved little girl. Instead, her life was savagely ripped away two years ago today.

I’m grateful that PF and KK are exactly where they should be. I was upset that KK’s parole hearing was set for the anniversary of the eve of Kelsey’s murder. But the results were poetic justice. Hope KK is eating cold pizza in prison today.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

ITA. She should have gotten way more time but they said they had to make a deal with the devil so they could get Frazee. Then he tried to have her knocked off!
I don't usually say these things but I really hope she's have a miserable time in prison. She really deserves it.
