From personal experience, it takes exactly 14 days to take down your FB page. I'm guessing LE can do it in less than that. At what point did she realize she needed to take it down. When KB was "missing", or when she realized she was involved in a murder investigation? JMO
edit to add: I imagine though that you could delete content during those 14 days.

You can take down your Facebook page in less than one minute.

No I don’t think so. But how prevalent is it for a criminal to do the burner phone thing, anyway? I feel like that’s been popularized so much from TV and movies that we think every person who is up to no good has a burner phone. I’d be surprised if both of them would have gone to that trouble.

I dont think its all that complex to buy a prepaid phone and prepaid calling card using cash at a big box store and stay completely anonymous. Unless things have changed it seems rather easy actually. And they are becoming popular for many reasons and not just criminals. People use them to stay anonymous on dating sites, etc.

I actually have a tracphone pay as you go phone but I elected to use real setup information because I wanted to be able to add airtime to it once a year. During setup of my phone I realized I could have lied on a lot of the setup features or just not installed some of them to get the phone working.

Prepaid and pay as you go phones are similar in some ways.

If there was any communication between them about the crime, they may have used different phones. Can data still be retrieved from those pay as you go track phones without having the actual phones? In other words, if they had those phones and destroyed them, and they were never found, could LE still somehow get the data from them?

They could track the purchase of burner phones through credit or debit cards or video surveillance. I would think from there, they could get a record of texts and calls from the phones. Idk if they could get the actual contents of text messages though. MOO.

I took a guess. IN is "Idaho Nurse". Probably - as we don't officially know her name. GH - no clue. Girl Horse comes to mind, but, no...

I think we could also use UN, "Unknown Nurse", or "Unannounced Nurse"

In the very early threads it was discussed whether KB had a ring and IIRC she may not have due to religious reasons - a very helpful WS poster explained it. I have not seen pictures of her hands though.
I too am curious if he had a tracphone - someone would have the number if he used it to contact others (solicitation charges) and if they are cooperating and LE has this number, maybe they can then get the data? I don't know.

Definitely. The hair with the intact follicle could be great. Postmortem root banding may develop, or may not, but if it does, it will provide additional information.

You can change the settings on your FB so that nobody can post on your timeline except you.

That would not provide any further info. These two are tied. KB's hair in the horse truck would indicate a lot.

IMO it is not very smart to get a lawyer, it is not very smart to run the press off of private land, it is not very smart to avoid a press conference seeking info on your missing partner, it is not very smart to hire or try to hire someone to kill your partner, it is not very smart to have someone text your partner's boss on Sunday and say your partner won't be showing up in 15 hours (and not give a reason).

Perhaps it wasn't his idea to text anyone and someone else, in possession of the phone, decided to do that. MOO

It would connect the two, it would show she was either in CO or he was in Idaho for her DNA to be in his truck. I would think that would be quite helpful to prove with actual evidence they are connected.

Although in the Dellen Millard case there were a number of phones, SIM cards and yes, a burner phone

I absolutely think they used burner phones. This was well planned out. They would need burner phones for the plan if they had any intelligence at all. They would realize their phones have to stay at their houses, pinging

So it could be swab from a handgun or a knife, not necessarily a hair follicle.

One thing that continues to baffle me is if PF wanted everyone to think that KB needed time off of work and he wanted everyone to think she sent the texts from Idaho, then why did he leave both her vehicles in her own driveway.

I almost wonder if he did plan to have someone drive the car there and maybe the person refused to do it or got scared to do that part.

OR, was he trying to set the stage for, "she was seeing someone else and she must have gone with him and HE did something to her along the way?" Narcs have a tendency to project their behaviour onto the victim by telling others these lies creating the "flying monkeys."

Police would not discuss the evidence further and said they're working with Colorado investigators to determine whether the items should be sent by mail or courier.

LE probably verified with the hospital IN’s work schedule during times in question....
It will be interesting to find out if IN was off work for the holiday weekend and spent it in CO ( I know it was reported she was there Thanksgiving day but I haven’t heard beyond that). Could be she went back to Idaho that Sunday, turned the phone on once she got to Gooding, sent the text, then disposed of it. Phone off until that time.

Or that she wouldn’t be at work for awhile...

I'm convinced the evidence they removed from her house and the evidence they want to test is related to the perpetrator/s (other than PF) and not the victim. They collected a week after the first search when they knew much more.
